Stuffed Kielbasa

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2011
I just made this a few nights ago and my boyfriend enjoyed it. I used homemade mashed potatoes rather than pre-packaged mashed potatoes. I also didn't use sauerkraut, and used cheddar instead of mozzarella. Still turned out nice!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2011
I made this for my boyfriend when he was sick and needed comfort food and he LOVED it. I followed some reviewers suggestions and added the biscuit dough about 30 minutes before serving (torn into small pieces) and it was great. Will definitely make again.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
I got great reviews from the family on this! The only thing I did different was to mix some of the shredded cheese in like other reviewers did and I also added a cup of French's cheddar fried onions into the mix for crunchiness. Absolutely delicious!

Banana Cream Pie with Caramel Drizzle

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
I made two of these for Thanksgiving dessert this year - fantastic! I followed the recipe, except I drizzled chocolate on top instead of caramel (I'm sure caramel would be really good too). So easy and I will definitely make it again!

I made this for my boyfriend and he really liked it - said it had great flavor and just the right amount of spiciness. It was very easy - I will definitely be making this again. Thanks!

Southwestern Rice

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2010
This was good. I used vegetable broth in place of chicken broth (I'm vegetarian), and it was still really good. I actually sprinkled a little more cumin over the rice as it cooked, as well as cajun-creole spices, to kick up the flavor. Served with spicy adobo sirloin steaks - nice pairing!

White Peach Sangria

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2010
I LOVE this! I used a bottle of Pinot Grigio. I didn't have peach-flavored vodka so I used regular Smirnoff, but I bet the peach-flavored makes it even better. I also added a couple extra teaspoons of frozen lemonade mix, and I didn't have grapes on hand so I used raspberries and sliced apples in their place. Served over ice mixed with club soda and a few slices of peach and it is delicious - but drink it slow!

Sausage Cheese Muffins

These are easy and yummy. I spread a little butter on these while warm, or serve somewhat crumbled open with scrambled eggs. Good recipe!

Tasty BBQ Corn on the Cob

Very good! Next time I am adding more spices to my butter mixture, I don't think I added enough this time. Still awesome!

Vegetarian Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2010
This was good but a little spicy for me. Next time I will use 1/2 to 3/4 the bottle of buffalo hot sauce. To decrease spiciness I added some chunky bleu cheese dressing until the heat was decreased to my liking. I also used Qorn Naked Chik'n Cutlets, diced. Those are awesome.

Michelle's Blonde Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2010
This was very so-so for me. I followed the recipe and it just came out very bland. I tried adding more spices but it didn't do much for it.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2010
I seasoned the filets with Old Bay, which I may not do next time as I felt like there was too much of an herb-y taste to the fish. Still edible, just a little much. The fish had a great melt-in-your-mouth consistency though which was really good.

Cheeseburger in Pizzadise

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2010
I just used a refrigerated Pillsbury pizza crust for this which worked fine. I omitted the dill pickle slices (boyfriend hates pickles) and the pizza looked good. He didn't care for the mustard taste so I think I will omit it next time. Other than that, good!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2010
I did as others suggested and chopped about 1/3 cup of onion to place on the bottom of the slow cooker before adding the pork. I also seasoned the pork with garlic powder and black pepper before placing it in the cooker. I dislike shredding meat (it's a tedious job) but it was worth the effort - I toasted a hoagie bun with provolone and piled the barbequed meat on top and it was great! I used Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce.
