Perfect every time and I use Aborio rice, same as for Risotto. Always creamy and gone in no time even when I double it. It's been a staple recipe since I found it here a couple of years ago, thank you Erica and Ericas Mum.

Fresh Pear Bread

Excellent recipe, halved it to make one loaf but didn't change anything other then using wholemeal flour instead of white. Absolutely scrumptious and will definitely make again. Thanks for the great recipe.

Perogies

I was looking for something with bacon and cheese to make for my toddler after he had lost some weight from being ill. He hasn't tried them yet but I loved them and that was without frying them. This was my first time making and trying them and I was very pleasantly surprised. I used wholemeal flour as that is what was on hand, and I added a combination of garlic and onion salt in place of the plain salt for the pastry. The pastry also sat for a few hours before I actually got to use it as my toddler was keeping me busy. I had no hassles with stickiness etc, it rolled out beautifully. Thanks for an excellent recipe. (eta-toddler has since tried them and loved them also, so it's definitely now worth 5 stars)

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Amazing, I would rate these higher if I could also. Unfortunately I am home alone and no one knows I have made them as yet, so it is taking a bucket of willpower not to eat them ALL. Divine and thoroughly decadent. Thanks for this keeper Kathy.

Sweet Potato Pie I

Absolutely beautiful pie, the family loved it and they had never tried one before. Being Aussies Sweet Potato or Pumpkin Pies are not something that you come across. Very glad to have found such an excellent recipe for such a yummy addition to my baking list. Added extra cinnamon and a little flour as some suggested, also cut the sugar to 2/3 using the brown and white sugars. Thanks for the recipe, it's a definite hit.

Jerky Lover's Jerky - Sweet, Hot and Spicy!

Excellent flavour, I used with a lean beef and sprinkled with crushed black pepper before drying. Very tasty even though I chickened out on the amount of liquid smoke and only added about a 3rd of what was called for. Have already had to make 2 batches to keep up with demand.

Creamy Cheesecake

Delicious, far nicer then the store bought one I had the other week. First time I used light cream cheese and was more then happy with the result. This time I used the full fat which was creamier.......think I prefer the lighter one. Either way, very easy and topped with Supreme Strawberry Topping I also found on here, I even impressed myself! Thankyou for the recipe, it's a definate keeper.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Scrumptious, totally enjoyable seeing as I'm hard to please with cookies. I prefer crunchy cookies and find most are too moist for me. This recipe has the best of both, moist in the middle and crunchie on the edges. I cooked them for about 15 mins, though that could have more to do with my oven then anything, and leaving them on the tray to cool COMPLETELY seems to alleviate any problems with breaking up.
