Applesauce Cake V

I made this for my Mom's birthday and everyone loved it. I used the Cream Cheese Frosting II recipe. I made it into 2 round pans and made a layer cake and they only needed about 23-25 minutes at the most to bake. Will make again for a delicious easy cake.

Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese

I doubled the recipe and divided into 2 dishes for 2 dinners. I changed the American cheese to shredded cheddar. Yes, it does look soupy when you put it in the oven but it absorbs and I wouldn't change the measurements at all. Remember to only cook the elbows for 6 minutes, then they will still absorb the sauce during baking. Loved by my family at a BBQ last night. Thanks!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

I've made these with both vanilla pudding or chocolate pudding, whatever I have on hand. Makes a delicious cookie with a wonderful texture. I halve the recipe and use 1 box of sugar-free pudding, makes about 3 dozen cookies. Would be great for a bake sale.

No-Fuss Rice Pudding

French Dip Sandwiches

Used an eye-of-round roast and the only thing I'd do differently is pour the juice over the shredded meat before serving so it could soak in. The sandwiches would have been even better if the meat was completely covered in the juice instead of just dipped in.

One Minute Chocolate Icing

Fudge-like was a good description. It's not your fluffy smooth icing if that's what you are looking for. Tasted great on vanilla cupcakes. Didn't need to use mixer for last 3 minutes, just did by hand with a whisk. Using sugar instead of 10x like a lot of other icings gives you a grainier icing, so skip this one if that bothers you.

Scalloped Potatoes II

I didn't add anything and they were great! My 4 year old ate them up! Loved the browning on the top, delicious! I thickened the milk, butter, and flour in the microwave ahead of time, then layered with potatoes for about 45 minutes in 375 degree oven.

Indoor S'mores

Very good! I was out of corn syrup and I'm glad I was since I thought they were very sweet w/o it. I kept out some of the marshmellows and chocolate chips like other posters said, and stirred them with the cereal and melted mixture in my Thatsa bowl to coat it well before pressing into pan. After sitting out a few hours they were not sticking together so I put them in the fridge and boy are they good!

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Won't ever need to look for another oatmeal raisin recipe again....this one is it!! Used all butter since I didn't have the butter shortening. They made such nice round chewy cookies, didn't spread much. Used a medium cookie scoop. Wonderful! Thank you!

Strawberry Bread

Makes 6 mini-loaves, I used them for gifts (the ones I didn't eat myself!). The mini loaves took 40-45 minutes and I absolutely loved the crispy edges on this bread. Very good!

Parmesan Knots

Yum! I used 2 smaller cans of biscuits (the 7.5 oz ones) and didn't split them in 1/2 to roll. I split the recipe in 1/2 then to cover my 20 biscuits. Very good addition to a simple Easter meal! Thanks for the recipe.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

I couldn't believe how soft they stayed even after a few days. I made them Thursday night and by Sunday night took them to a family dinner and they were still so chewy! Used my stoneware pans so it took much longer to bake them.

Buttery Rolls

These turned out so well. Using the bread machine was an easy way to make the dough and they all baked evenly, no doughy spots in the middle. Even a few days later I gave some to my family and they loved them.

We always order this at the OG. Now I can make it at home. Used Jimmy Dean roll sausage and next time I'll use the spicy variety. Thanks for an excellent recipe. Now we just need a recipe for the OG breadsticks!

Danish Pastry Apple Bars II

I wouldn't consider these bars, more like apple pie in a 9x13. It was very good, but I did substitute oatmeal for the cornflakes. I took this to a young adults Sunday School class and they all loved it. I might try to make more of an icing for it next time, the glaze didn't do much for me. My suggestion is to roll out the dough on a silicone pastry mat and then flip it into the pan. That's the only thing that worked for me. I only used about 1/2 of the sugar but it was still great tasting. Will make again! Thanks for this recipe!
