Rainbow Pasta Salad I

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2006
Great recipe! This was my first time making pasta salad, and I wanted something with minimal ingredients. We skipped the olives, and used turkey pepperoni and fat free Wishbone Italian dressing, almost 1 bottle. Very good and I will keep making!!!

Made this for dinner tonight...gave 4 stars since it was good, but not "the best." I will make again if I remember to, we both liked it.

Amy's Marvelous Marbled Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2006
I have made this recipe 2-3 times, and it is quite delicious. Very easy to make, and good cheesecake recipe for when you don't have sour cream on hand. I always used my mini-springform pans (fills 2, plus a small pudding dish extra), because I didn't think it'd fill a 9 inch pan. I have never been able to get the layers to swirl, they always just divide vanilla on bottom, then the layer of chocolate on top. Any tips on getting it to marble? I will keep making this recipe whenever I want to make cheesecake with chocolate, it's also good for a Valentine's Day treat in mini-springforms for dessert. I always just use chocolate chips as the chocolate part.

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2005
Definitely delicious! Was a bit of a chore to make, I think next time I'd mix it in a big bowl, then put it on the cookie sheets. I should have made it in my roaster pan but I forgot I had one. I accidentally mixed all the sauce ingredients together, and that worked fine instead of adding the soda and vanilla later. Will make again maybe for Christmas once a year. I used 3 bags of natural popcorn microwave popped.

Yam and Apple Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2005
I was looking for a healthy sweet potato recipe and this hit the spot! Everyone loved it and I will definitely be making this again. The only part I didn't like doing was basting with the juice, that was a pain. I think I basted it 3 times while it baked.

Lower Fat Banana Bread II

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2005
Delicious bread, my hubby wouldn't have known it was low-fat if I didn't tell him. I used 3 small bananas. Don't forget the applesauce since it's not written in the instructions! Will definitely use this again. I used my own homemade no sugar added applesauce. So easy to make!

Prize-Winning Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2001
Very good soft sugar cookie. I thought it had too much of a nutmeg taste though. But I will definitely make it again and just omit the nutmeg. Makes more than 4 dozen, about 5 dozen.
