Marinade for Steak I

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2007
Wow! I won't ever make steak on the grill again without marinating it. This was great, the only change I made was to cut the recipe in 1/2 since it was just steaks for 2 of us, and I used regular vinegar instead of red wine since I didn't have any. I added 1 Tbsp of red raspberry dressing. This was so good, and I only marinated them for 2 1/2 hours. I didn't need to use A-1 sauce!!

Strawberry Cinnamon Oatmeal Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2007
These were pretty good, I will make again. My husband said he really liked them, so that's always a keeper for me. I followed the recipe exactly, although I'm not sure how many strawberries I used, I just kept adding them until my wet mixture equaled 2 cups. These muffins didn't rise up at all for me, but they were still good.

Pizza Dough III

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2007
This didn't work out well for me. We baked it for quite a long time and it still didn't get done through and through. I must have done something wrong.

Plum Blueberry Upside Down Cake

Tasted great, make sure to let it cool and loosen edges before flipping out. Did not look as beautiful as the picture, but nice enough to serve.

Autumn Apple Blender Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2007
I would rate this cake 4-5 stars on taste, but on procedure and appearance I'd give it a 3. First off, it tastes delicious. I bake a lot, and this will definitely be made again. My husband and I almost just polished off 1/2 the cake. On the baking process, I will not use the blender next time. I will use my stand mixer and follow the same process. The blender did not mix it well and it was almost spilling out. I followed the recipe exactly except for using pumpkin pie spice instead of allspice since I don't have that. I would have to alter the recipe if I wanted to serve it to others (other than me and my family) because I didn't like how it didn't fill the pan enough so it wasn't a nice tall bundt cake. It stands low. i used a silicone bundt pan and it took about 40-45 minutes to bake through. Great tasting, I love the syrup in it, but would use my stand mixer next time. Thanks for a good tasting bundt cake recipe!!!

Banana Chip Muffins II

I changed a few things around but overall this was a good recipe and very tasty. I always like to make muffin recipes that don't use butter or oil. I'll be making it again!

Savory Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2007
My husband really liked it. Next time I'll use a 8 inch square pan so there's less room for the sauce and topping to fall off. I only used 1/2 cup crumbs and it was still enough.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2006
I only made the meatballs, I used store-bought sauce instead. We liked the meatballs made exactly like the recipe states, but they weren't fantastic. I'm still searching for a great meatball recipe.

Lemon Sauce I

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2006
Well I thought the taste was fine but this didn't turn out how I wanted. I had to keep adding cornstarch and it was still runnier than I wanted. I'll try another recipe next time. But it tasted great so if you want a thin consistency, try this one.

Plantation Gingerbread

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2006
Made this cake for a Christmas party and I paired it with Lemon Sauce I from this site. I will make this cake again and it was very easy to make. I mixed the dry ingredients the night before so it only took me a few minutes to get it into the oven the next day. Everyone said it was great and it was very moist.

Judy's Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Always a hit, I make this recipe at least once or twice a year. Making it for a Christmas party this weekend, the combo of sweet and salty is heavenly. I always use sugar free jello, low fat cream cheese, and light cool whip.

Applesauce Cake V

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2006
I made this for my Mom's birthday and everyone loved it. I used the Cream Cheese Frosting II recipe. I made it into 2 round pans and made a layer cake and they only needed about 23-25 minutes at the most to bake. Will make again for a delicious easy cake.

Orange Sherbet Gelatin Mold

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2006
I made this the day before I was having a picnic, and the next day I was so disappointed. It was a total liquidy mess, and yes, I did follow the directions exactly...drained the oranges, etc. Not sure why this doesn't work! I've never had problems with a recipe from here before!
