Ham 'n' Noodle Hot Dish

Reviewed: May 25, 2009
Fast recipe the whole family enjoyed! Next time I might use all cheddar instead of American.

Kellogg's® Chocolate Scotcheroos

Big hit! This bar stays soft for a few days, unlike regular rice krispie treats that usually only last a day or two before going hard.

Parmesan Knots

Yum! I used 2 smaller cans of biscuits (the 7.5 oz ones) and didn't split them in 1/2 to roll. I split the recipe in 1/2 then to cover my 20 biscuits. Very good addition to a simple Easter meal! Thanks for the recipe.

Red Velvet Cupcakes

They were good, I'd make them again. Just not an absolute knock your socks off cupcake. My husband said his coworkers all liked them.

Barbecued Round Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2009
To save time, I cut up my steak into strips and then threw everything into the crock-pot. I did NOT brown the meat first. I don't have tomato juice on hand, so I substituted Ragu traditional sauce for the juice and ketchup. Had white rice to put it all on. Fast and easy and delicious.

Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
This was very tasty with spaghetti but I guess I didn't flatten my chicken enough because they took longer to reach the right temp and got dark in the skillet. Next time I will just stick to my oven-bake method.

Polka Dots

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2009
4 stars for ease and alright-tasting cookie. Had no problems getting them off the cookie sheets, but definitely let them sit and cool for a minute or so before you remove them to cool completely. I followed the recipe but used M&Ms, about 1 cup. Baking them longer than 8 minutes will result in a crispier cookie. Depends on what you were looking for.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2008
I couldn't believe how soft they stayed even after a few days. I made them Thursday night and by Sunday night took them to a family dinner and they were still so chewy! Used my stoneware pans so it took much longer to bake them.

Rosenmunnar

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2008
I'm only rating 3 stars because to me they tasted so buttery and that's not usually a complaint but for some reason I just don't think they have much other flavor. They did spread but I can probably crumble off the brown edges. For that much butter and fat I'd hope to get more cookies, but only 40 tiny cookies. Next time I'll make something more interesting, but at least this recipe is very easy!

Buttery Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2008
These turned out so well. Using the bread machine was an easy way to make the dough and they all baked evenly, no doughy spots in the middle. Even a few days later I gave some to my family and they loved them.

Toscana Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2008
We always order this at the OG. Now I can make it at home. Used Jimmy Dean roll sausage and next time I'll use the spicy variety. Thanks for an excellent recipe. Now we just need a recipe for the OG breadsticks!

This was awesome. I made a few pans of this to give away and froze one too. With vanilla ice cream on top, can't beat it!

I've been making this recipe for the past few Christmases. My family loves them. I buy a big bag of Craisins at Costco and make lots of these cookies.

Danish Pastry Apple Bars II

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2008
I wouldn't consider these bars, more like apple pie in a 9x13. It was very good, but I did substitute oatmeal for the cornflakes. I took this to a young adults Sunday School class and they all loved it. I might try to make more of an icing for it next time, the glaze didn't do much for me. My suggestion is to roll out the dough on a silicone pastry mat and then flip it into the pan. That's the only thing that worked for me. I only used about 1/2 of the sugar but it was still great tasting. Will make again! Thanks for this recipe!

Toffee Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2008
Mmmmmmm! I made these today for our Sunday School class tomorrow, and I wasn't sure what to expect. They were so easy and taste so good! They taste exactly like a toffee candy bar. It's good I made another dessert also because we wouldn't have enough left to take to class! I will definitely be making this easy and delicious bar again. I might make it in a 9x13 pan next time because they came out too thin in my opinion for a bar. That's the only thing I'd change! I did use some chocolate chips and some Hershey's dark Bliss pieces, and spreaded all together.

Apple Crumb Pie

I used brown sugar in the topping. Tasted good, but I think it'd be even better with more crumb topping.

Baked Potato Soup V

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2008
I made this in a larger batch for our church youth group's progressive dinner at our house. The teens, chaperones, and us all loved it. Tastes like the delicious soup we get sometimes at restaurants. Now I do admit, it was time consuming to scoop out all the potato mush, but it was worth it. The teens liked passing around the toppings and adding what they wanted. Oh, obviously I did not use the microwave, I prefer baking them. Does anyone ever keep the potato skins on in the soup? I wondered how that would taste.
