Comfort food...and it shows on all my family. I come from a hodge-podge of Swedish, English, German and a dash of Scotch-Irish, so you can imagine the taste buds in our family and what we like. On holidays we very much like to make old fav's like Swedish potato sausage, lefsa, and other yummy delicious treats. Grandma's puffy cookies (date filled cookies) are my absolute favorite. I have never been able to make them exactly the same, but I keep trying year after year. Spaghetti. I don't do anything special but my entire family boasts about it. I also make homemade garlic bread and that of course goes great with the spag! Fish. I have never been able to get fish cooked just right. Any ideas??
