E-Z Drop Biscuits

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2012
These were very good. I made with half the amount of Cream of Tarter and a hare more of the salt and sugar. They came out wonderfully... although my boyfriend thinks they look funny. He did eat them and said they tasted good.I really liked them a lot. I still want to try other recipes, but may put this one in the rotation. They almost taste like a less greasy version of KFC's biscuits.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2012
I rate this a 4 when made according to recipe. When made with a few changes it is easily worthy of a five star rating. I made these with only butter, doubled the vanilla, doubled the cinnamon, cut the cloves in half, added a dash of nutmeg, dash of ginger, and MOST IMPORTANTLY I soaked my raisins in Sugar water to rehydrate them. Then I formed balls a little bigger than walnuts and cooked for about 11 minutes. After doing these things I found that the cookies were the best I have had in a long time. Only thing I will do differently next time is to add another 1/4 cup of raisins. 1 cup just isn't enough for this recipe.

Cracked Sugar Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2012
I made these today and they came out perfectly. Cooked them for 11 minutes and the bottoms were a light golden color. They have a slight crisp on the outside, a chewy bottom and a soft, yet chewy center that is what sets it apart from other cookies. I can't stand a powdery sugar cookie that has no real texture. I do have to say I really give this recipe about 4.5 stars as is. I want a tad bit more of something flavorwise in this recipe. I am not quite sure what that something is, but I will enjoy experimenting with this cookie. It is one of the best I have had. *Note: These do taste best with some sort of an icing... in my opinion.

Rocky's Double Chocolate Mint Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
Not to toot my own horn but these cookies are to die for!!! I just made these two days ago and we ate them all so quickly!!! And I finished making more tonight. I did regular choc chip cookies this time. Used one cup milk choc chips and one cup white choc. I left out the andes mints. I promise you these are the perfect cookies! My three and a half year old son helped me make the cookies I made tonight and they still turned out amazing!!!

Powdered Sugar Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2009
They have a very strange flavor, not the sweet buttery flavor you'd expect from a sugar cookie. Will not make again.

Quick and Easy Brownies

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2009
Not what I expected... The directions leave to much to chance. I cooked mine for at least 40 minutes and they are still a little undercooked. They taste good though. I replaced the walnuts with three different kinds of chocolate chips: mini semi sweet, milk choc chips, and white choc chips. Half a cup equal parts of all three. But I'm still working on the time. I have a square non stick and I think it's messing with my results a little. I might try a higher heat of 375 next time.

Never Fail Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
Some of the pictures posted didn't look very good. So I did a few things different. I used milk chocolate chips instead of semisweet, and I put the dough in the fridge for about ten minutes, then used one of those tablespoon measuring spoons to drop onto the sheet. I baked them for 10-11 minutes. I stored the dough in the fridge while I was baking each batch. They turned out very good. They do seem a little thin compared to what I'm used to. Which is why I don't recommend baking them longer than 10 min or they may turn out too crispy.
