Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2012
Great recipe! This will be my new go-to. I did add the 1 tsp cream of tarter as suggested by another reviewer. It doesn't change the taste, but the cookies crackle on top and look delicious! Also, I didn't have nuts on hand so omitted them. I left them in the oven about 14 minutes instead of the suggested 10 because they weren't quite browned at 10 minutes. Possibly a difference in ovens though. They are the perfect combination of crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Try them!!!

Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2011
Best banana bread I have ever tasted. Took others suggestions and used 1/2 white and 1/2 brown sugar. I meant to add the vanilla too but forget - still turned out beautifully. Also, I only had 3 bananas on hand (about 1.5 cups). I can't wait to make it again with the full 2 cups of bananas and vanilla!

Flourless Chocolate Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2011
Made this for a colleague with celiac disease. EVERYONE absolutely raved about it. Very dense, rich chocolate cake. A small sliver goas a long way. Made the recipe exactly as is.

Classic Waffles

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2011
I followed the instructions just exactly as stated. My husband and I found the waffles bland. It is an "ok" recipe, but nothing that will impress people. When I cook, I like people to be "wow'ed". There are certainly better waffle recipes out there. Will not make these again.

Cinnamon-Topped Rhubarb Muffins

Reviewed: May 26, 2010
Great! Turned our moist and delicious. I agree with other reviewers - will add more rhubarb next time. I started out with 4 cups of chopped rhubarb. Once I chopped in finely with the electric chopper, I ended up with 2 cups finely chopped. Will add at least another cup finely chopped next time. Also, I didn't have buttermilk. Instead, I mixed 1 Cup of milk with 1 Tablespoon of lemon juice. Let it stand for 10 mins for the milk to curdle. Used that instead of buttermilk. Delicious! Will definitely make again. Would be great with other fruit as well.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

Reviewed: May 22, 2010
Everybody loves these when I make them. It's easy to varythe recipe too. I like the best with chocolate cake, chunky chocolate chip cookie dough, and cream cheese icing! Very easy recipe and great for kids to get involved. Make sure the cookie dough balls are frozen solid - I leave a stash in the deep freeze and take them out as needed.

Buttercream Icing

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2010
I made a few slight alterations to this recipe. I used butter in place of the 1/2 cup shortening, and I also used 2 TBSP water instead of milk so I wouldn't have to refigerate the cupcakes. Turned out beautifully! YUM!
