Sugar Coated Pecans

These are fabulous. I made them as directed and added 1 tbl of vanilla. I whisked the egg white, water and vanilla, then added the sugar mixture to the same bowl, it was easier that way.

Overnight French Toast I

Too many eggs, makes it soggy. Cream sugar in with the creamed cheese, its not sweet enough. 1/4 should be enough. I made with peaches instead of blueberries because I didn't have them. I'll make again with these revisions.

Seared Ahi Tuna Steaks

I am a novice cook who is very intimidated by cooking fish. I am constantly trying different recipes for tuna steaks and this is the first one that I actually liked. I eyeballed how much olive oil and butter I used, but I probably used 2 tbl spoons of butter. After the pan heated up, I added the peppercorns (again eyeballed), and waited until they popped before I added the tuna steak. Also, I coated my steaks in a prepackaged salmon seasoning. My boyfriend doesn't like his Tuna as rare as I do, so I let it cook for 3 mins on each side. There was a beautiful dark crunchy coating on the outside. This recipe is soooo good!

Overnight French Toast II

I cut the recipe in half, using two eggs and cooked it in an 8x8 glass dish. I loved it, next time I think I'll use maple syrup instead of corn. Very good.

Sugar and Spice Bacon

Pretty good. I think less bacon and more flour would be better. I couldn't taste the brown sugar which was disappointing, so I add more and through it back in the oven. It's very crispy.

Sweet Potato Casserole I

This is really good, I only gave it three stars because it is way to sweet. Cut the topping in half and it will be much better, the rest of the recipe is really good. I added cinnamon and nutmeg into the potato mixture and my family loved it. I'll make it again, but next time I'll reduce the topping.
