Restaurant-Style Potato Salad

Awesome! This truly is a great cold potato salad. Great flavors going on in this dish, and is a great side to lots of summer meals. I omitted the carrots and pimento's due to preference, and doubled the mustard. Also added a few hard boiled eggs. I will use this recipe from now on every time i make potato salad. =)

Sugar Cookie Icing

Made this icing to go on the recipe on here called "the best rolled sugar cookies" for christmas this year... the plate was cleared in no time.. and I can't tell you how many compliments I got on the flavor of the icing- I also thought it was better and "lighter" tasting than any other cut out cookie glaze i've tried. A keeper!

Fried Onion Rings

Wow! I was skeptical, since restaurant and pub style onion rings are always so great that attempting homemade ones may turn out less than desirable. These were amazing! I just heated 1 qt (4 cups) canola oil in a deep skillet- and for the batter I used Coors Light Beer and threw in a little extra pepper than what the recipe called for and also added Weber Grill seasoning salt. They came out puffy and crispy and golden brown delicious! Tasted like those you can get at carnival's and state fairs. Will definately be making these again, and also I think this exact recipe would be a phenomenal batter for shrimp- will be trying that also! =)

Sausage, Peppers and Onions

Another 5 star recipe on AllRecipes.com in my opinion! This was so hearty and delicious- tasted like a real comfort food. I used Ragu brand roasted garlic and herb sauce, since the store didnt have tomato basil kind- and I added fresh basil and extra garlic cloves the sauce myself. I used a mix of hot and sweet italian sausages and cut them into 1 inch pieces after browning, then threw them in the pan with the sauce and vegetables to finish cooking. I served this on large asiago cheese dinner rolls. What an amazing dish! Will definately make this again, and try it with penne pasta also =)

Sloppy Joes II

I will never ever buy canned manwich again. This stuff is awesome- and so easy. Definately even better on second day leftovers- after the flavors had longer to sit. -UPDATE-have made these 2 more times since the first time I made them, and felt I had to write another review because these are so amazing, and a true comfort food. I used spicy dijon mustard, and doubled the sauce, and trippled the amount of onions, and it was just great. Everyone raved about them! =)

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Awesome! I've never been one to buy to packaged mix anyways.. but I've googled some pretty nasty pancake recipes over time.. but this one is a keeper...great old fashioned tasting fluffy pancake recipe =) Made it 3 times already- and this one will go in my permanent recipe book

Biggest Bestest Burger

Definately a 5 star burger. I did add an egg to the mixture, as some reviews said these were falling apart while cooking. The result was awesome, these were so moist and flavorful. Next time, I would use maybe 1/2 of an onion instead of a whole one- it seems a little too much considering there are so many other flavors going on. I used roasted garlic teriyaki sauce and topped these with swiss and american cheese. Excellent! Can't wait to make these again.

Italian Wedding Cookies III

Perfect..added a little almond extract to it, but otherwise recipe as stated is pretty traditional and tasty! Made these as favors for guests at our wedding reception last week.. and everyone loved them!

Cheese Garlic Biscuits II

5 stars! These really do taste so similar to the famous RL restaraunt. I added onion powder,parsley flakes, and a little garlic salt to the dry dough mixture. Like other reviews state, definately don't overmix. The dough is very sticky and sort of hard to work with, but they came out light and fluffy and declicious! Will definately try these again. I will double it though, these only made about a dozen- and that just wasn't enough to go around!

Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

These are awesome. SO much more flavorful than your typical chocolate chip cookie base (with butter etc.) I've made these countless times, and end up calling them my garbage dump cookies because every time I add pecans,walnuts,white chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips, a splash of honey and maple syrup, and a few rolled oats. People are ALWAYS begging me for the recipe and asking me "can you please make more of those garbage dump cookies?" =)

Weeknight Lasagne Toss

Wow!So much faster than the usual layered lasagna, but tastes just as good if not better! I was honestly impressed. I threw in a small can of mushrooms,diced up an onion also.. and I did the extra step with ricotta cheese (I think this is what makes the dish so great) I will be printing this, and keeping it in my allrecipes binder for continued use!! =)

Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

Absoultely delicious! A little time-consuming, but so worth the wait. The filling was so good. I followed the recipe exactly as written, but omitted the olives (per preference) This by far exceeds any echilada recipe I've ever tasted. Like other reviewers, I agree that using a good authentic quality enchilada sauce is the way to go, otherwise a cheap canned variety sort of trumps all the wonderful flavors going on in the filling. This will be printed and put in my recipe book! =)

Best Brownies

Wow. These are amazing. I didn't use the frosting called for here because I have my own chocolate glaze recipe I use time and time again without fail for lots of things, but I did use the brownie recipe exactly as written here. I doubled it in a 9X13 and baked for exactly 25 minutes. Outside was slightly crisp and inside was soft and chewy. I did also add walnuts. I'm keeping the recipe for anytime I want to make brownies, in my opinion no other I've tried comes as close to perfect as this one.

Baked Ziti I

Excellent. Made recipe as is (took advice of fellow reviewers and I did mix the noodles and sauce together before layering) However, the provolone and sour cream in this dish just gave it such a hearty and rich feel.. it was delicious. I urge everyone to try this recipe as written.. it is amazing and my company thought so, too. Will definately be making this again!

Great. I used lots of garlic flavoring in this, and used reduced fat four cream to cut down on the fat a little.. sprinkled a little bacon bits on top before baking..and these were awesome comfort food potatoes..will definately make again =)

Taco Bake

Excellent!! I too followed the suggestion of a previous reviewer and double the tomato sauce- 1 15 oz can tomato sauce and 1- 15 oz can diced tomato (roasted garlic and onion flavored) also sauteed lots of garlic and onion in the pan with the ground beef. I added a small can of whole kernal corn to mixture- and used only half of the recommended amount of green chilies. Baked for 15 minutes, then took out and added crushed tortilla chips and a mexican cheese blend mix to the top and baked another 15 minutes. Very hearty and filling-tastes great!! Will definately make again.
