Skillet Fried Corn

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2011
I fixed this for my husband and I for dinner. He absolutely loved it. Didn't think it was that greasy. I used frozen cream and sugar corn. It was wonderful!!!

Cheddar Bacon Hamburgers

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2011
I doubled the recipe but didn't double the horseradish because my hubby doesn't really care for it. Even he said it could use maybe a bit more added next time. These are really good!!! I will be making them again.

Italian Style Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
The only thing I changed was to use ro-tel tomatoes instead of canned diced tomatoes. It was very good. Definitely a keeper.

3-Cheese Pasta Bake

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2010
I made it exactly as the recipe said. I used a cheddar/hot pepper chese blend. It was okay, hubby ate it but raved more about the chicken he did on the grill. Which tells me he wasn't that crazy about it. If I do this one again, I will more than likely use cheddar cheese soup.

Garlic Herb Grilled Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: May 31, 2010
All we can say about this is it was WONDERFUL!! The garlic, rosemary and thyme were such a great compliment to the pork. This will definitely be a staple at my house.

Mushroom Sauce Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2010
This was really good, but I did make a couple of changes. I used one can of cream of mushroom soup and one can golden mushroom soup. I only used about 1/2 soupcan of milk and added some mushrooms to the onion saute. Hubby really liked it.

Irish Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2010
Very, very good. Instead of using water, I used chicken broth since other reviews had said it didn't have much chicken flavor. I really think this would be good served over hot, halved biscuits instead of the dumplings.

Maple Walnut Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
I made this pie today. I did use the suggestion that instead of Maple extract to use vanilla. Plus I used chopped walnuts instead of walnut halves (cheaper). It is FANTASTIC!!! My husband said do not lose that recipe and that he wants me to make it once a month.

Chicken Scampi II

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2010
My husband and I both really enjoyed this recipe. I did take the advice of others and added some red and yellow bell pepper, mushrooms and onion. Mixed it all together with the pasta and served it with some warm french bread to make sure to get all the drippings. Hubby did say that was a keeper!!!

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
Very, very good. I took a suggestion and used 1 can cream of mushroom and 1 can golden mushroom, omitted the wine (used more milk) and also added some sauteed mushrooms. Served it with mashed potatoes and a salad. Hubby said it was a KEEPER!

Sugar Cream Pie III

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
I hadn't had a sugar cream pie in years. I found this recipe and decided to try it. It was very easy to put together and my husband absolutely loved it. Although I do think I let it bake a bit long but to me it has a crispy top coating like a creme brulee. I will definitely be making this again.
