Really Easy Chowder

this is a perfect start....you can disolve a small can of anchovies in with the garlic and onion, along with the celery, add a can of crushed tomatoes with the diced and tomato sauce, after those flavors blend for about 15 min, add the cod, flounder, tilapia, raw shrimp, bay scallops, etc and cook till fish flaky, its called fish stew, or chippinno. Wonderful !!

Peppermint Meringues

I would add the peppermint extract & food colloring to the sugar and mix well, before adding to the beaten egg whites. sometimes additives to egg whites will keep them from beating up properly. Also, if you chill the bowl and beaters for an hour before beating the egg whites, it will go faster.
