Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Have made this different times with cherry coke, regular coke and root beer. Always turns out great. I used Famous Dave's Devil's Spit bbq sauce as we like it hot. Last time I used 3 pork loin filets.

Sauteed Mushrooms

Amazing flavor. I was just cooking these for myself as my kids don't like mushrooms. I used Mongolian fire oil and a touch of evoo. Dropped in two large white button mushrooms and lightly turned them. Then sprinkled the buttermilk seasoning on. Draped them over a crab cake. They were delicious.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Used chicken broth instead of beer. Turned out great. 3 breasts provided more than enough meat. Rotel diced tomatoes with lime and cilantro gave it a nice bit of flavor.

Lucy's Mac and Corn

Not a bad dish, I added rotisserie chicken which I chopped up and diced green chiles. Was really good but next time I will omit the kernel corn and add more chicken.

Aztec Casserole

I made this and it turned out excellent. I used 2 large flour tortillas on the bottom. Then I added the mixture and then a layer of tortilla chips and then another layer of the mixture. I was going to add black beans but they didn't smell good when we opened the can.

Sesame Tilapia

I slightly modified the recipe by using Mongolian fire oil. I did a marinade in that and then dipped the 2 filet's in seasoned bread crumbs. Baked them for 30 mins in a small dish with a touch of olive oil. Served alongside sweet corn and some seasoned veggies. The fish was tender and moist. Great simple recipe.

Crab Cakes II

Crawfish Chowder

I had never had crawfish before but this recipe sounded really interesting so I decided to give it a try. All I can saw is WOW. This recipe is so delicious, simple to make and my wife can never make enough of it. I am kinda wondering if imitation crab meat might be substitued for the crawfish.
