Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2014
Have made this different times with cherry coke, regular coke and root beer. Always turns out great. I used Famous Dave's Devil's Spit bbq sauce as we like it hot. Last time I used 3 pork loin filets.

Sauteed Mushrooms

Reviewed: May 3, 2013
Amazing flavor. I was just cooking these for myself as my kids don't like mushrooms. I used Mongolian fire oil and a touch of evoo. Dropped in two large white button mushrooms and lightly turned them. Then sprinkled the buttermilk seasoning on. Draped them over a crab cake. They were delicious.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2012
Used chicken broth instead of beer. Turned out great. 3 breasts provided more than enough meat. Rotel diced tomatoes with lime and cilantro gave it a nice bit of flavor.

Lucy's Mac and Corn

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2012
Not a bad dish, I added rotisserie chicken which I chopped up and diced green chiles. Was really good but next time I will omit the kernel corn and add more chicken.

Aztec Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2010
I made this and it turned out excellent. I used 2 large flour tortillas on the bottom. Then I added the mixture and then a layer of tortilla chips and then another layer of the mixture. I was going to add black beans but they didn't smell good when we opened the can.

Sesame Tilapia

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2008
I slightly modified the recipe by using Mongolian fire oil. I did a marinade in that and then dipped the 2 filet's in seasoned bread crumbs. Baked them for 30 mins in a small dish with a touch of olive oil. Served alongside sweet corn and some seasoned veggies. The fish was tender and moist. Great simple recipe.

Crab Cakes II

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2001
I really didn't like this recipe because it seemed like I couldn't get the crab cakes to stay together. But I do have to admit it is a really simple recipe.

Crawfish Chowder

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2001
I had never had crawfish before but this recipe sounded really interesting so I decided to give it a try. All I can saw is WOW. This recipe is so delicious, simple to make and my wife can never make enough of it. I am kinda wondering if imitation crab meat might be substitued for the crawfish.

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2001
I was looking for a simple easy way to fix my salmon and this was it. We don't get to eat salmon that much anymore but whenever we get lucky I always fix this recipe.
