Easy rice dish. Went nicely with Mexican themed meal I made for Mother's Day.

Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meat Loaf

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2012
Very good. Used 1 pkg. of Lipton Beefy Onion dry soup mix in place of the onions and other seasonings specified in the meat loaf mixture. Added a touch of liquid smoke to the topping ingredients. Used 93% lean ground beef, had no problems with greasiness. Will make again!

We enjoyed these. Had to use garlic powder like other reviewers as couldn't find chicken broth with garlic. We will make these again.

Broccoli-Rice Side Dish

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2012
This was super easy! Made this for niece who thinks broccoli rice should be in a food group of its own!! We used 3 cheese slices because she doesn't like cheese spread or velveeta and it worked out great. I did need to add a little extra milk. I made it as written first then added a little extra just to suit our tastes. I will make this again!

Cheese Potato Puff

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2012
I used leftover mashed potatoes that already had butter, milk, salt and pepper added. I heated them in the microwave, then added a little additional milk, 2T of cubed butter and cheese and stirred together. I made 6 servings, so I only used 1 egg and cut down on the cheese. These were very smooth and creamy, puffed up nicely. Delicious!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2012
This was good and easy. I cooked the pork and shredded, then put in fridge overnight and finished next day. Used a local BBQ sauce, was very good. Makes a LOT. Froze half for another day. Thanks for the recipe!

Excellent. Cooked with one batch of sauce, drained, shredded meat and froze. Defrosted, cooked in crockpot with second batch of sauce. Couldn't have gotten any better!

Little Smokies

These were good. Nice flavor but the sauce was a little too thin. Cooked it with the crockpot lid off near the end of the time and that helped thicken it up some. Thanks for the recipe.

Enchilada Casserole II

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
This was ok. Made exactly as written. It does go together very quickly, I almost rated it a 4 due to that alone. I read some of the other reviews and would try it again with taco seasoning and corn tortillas. Thanks!

We really liked this. It was fast to prepare, had good flavor. The chicken was crisp on the outside and very tender and moist inside. Thanks!

Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2011
I am 40 yrs old and have never attempted fudge before due to all the horror stories. This was SO good. I read a bunch of the reviews prior to making and it turned out perfectly! My niece and nephew were here and said it is better than Grandma's. They told their Mom and Grandma that I am the "Fudge Master". Thanks for making me look good!!

We enjoyed this. Will try again with some modifications that other reviewers suggested and I am sure we will make it again and again, especially as there are often pork sales where we live. Thanks for the recipe!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2011
Read numerous reviews and took their suggestions and this was really, really good. I will actually use 16 oz. mushrooms (read reviews) next time as that was my favorite part. I could eat the sauce with just mushrooms and be content but my husband would miss the beef. Thanks for the recipe!

I really enjoyed this dish. Made it for a family get together to go with grilled pork chops and corn on the cob. I ate a whole plate of this rather than a chop! Thanks for the recipe!

Easy Ham and Noodles

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2011
My 10 year old niece found this recipe when she was looking for something similar to a recipe they serve at her school. (Yes, she is one of those kids that actually likes school lunch! Weird, I know!) She made this mostly by herself, with my assistance with the stove and the oven. She used cream of chicken soup, and she used torn up cheese slices, because she said that would make it more like the school lunch type. She loved it, ate 2 helpings (and she is tiny!) and insisted on taking the leftovers home with her. Thanks for a recipe that made my niece very happy!

New England Dinner

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2011
This was still not done after an hour in a 400 degree oven. We covered it the first 30 minutes and left it uncovered the rest. I had to scoop it out of the baking pan and finish cooking it in a frying pan on the stove. The flavor was really good, though. I thought the idea of baking it sounded good instead of all the fried versions. Thanks anyway!

Savory Skillet Chicken and Rice

The flavor of this was good but it was not creamy. I made it exactly as written. I would make this again but would add extra milk or maybe a couple of tablespoons of sour cream. I will definitely try it again.

I followed the recipe exactly, I did not make a single substitution or add anything it didn't call for. It came out very dry and crumbly. If anyone has any advice please let me know as I would like to try it again with some tips.

3BC (Best Baked Bean Casserole)

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2011
Used this as a base recipe and really enjoyed it. I was asked to make 20 servings of baked beans for a child's party. I used 2 (55 oz each) cans and 1 (28 oz) can of Bush's Original baked beans, 4 packages of Oscar Meyer bacon crumbles (the ones in the bag near the croutons, salad dressing, etc.), 1 large onion (minced fine), 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar (which was plenty), 3 1/2 Tbsp of ketchup, 1 1/2 Tbsp of mustard, 1 3/4 Tbsp of Worcestershire and added 1 1/2 - 2 tsps. of Liquid Smoke along with 1 tsp of garlic powder and 1 tsp of black pepper. Cooked in the slow cooker on low for 4 1/2 hours then switched to warm to keep them hot for the party. Everyone loved them. I will definitely make these again for family gatherings!

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

This was very, very good. Made for Christmas and was hoping it would turn out ok as rump roast was pretty expensive. It was worth it. Shredded easily and was awesome when dipped into the au jus. Thanks for the recipe, we will use it again and again!
