Best Brownies

"Always turn out?" Hmm. Perhaps the poster did something that s/he didn't include in this recipe. What I got was a greasy, oily mess-- there is WAY too much butter in this recipe. Other bakers said they had a cake-like consistency-- mine was flat, so flat that it almost seemed like there wasn't anything n it to make it rise. As other reviewers have said, I could probably fool around with this to make it better, but I'd rather just find a different recipe.

Raspberry Peach Crumble

Delicious! I made a sugar-free version over the summer (omit the sugar, everything else the same) and it was nearly as good. Not quite, but it was the best sugar-free recipe I could come up with. But, as the recipe reads, this is great! I have to stop myself from eating ALL of the oat mixture.

Cran-Apple Muffins

YUM. These muffins are the BEST! I have made them several times since discovering the recipe almost two years ago, and they are always a hit. I'm mostly-vegan, and I use Ener-G and almond milk rather than egg and cow's milk, and the substitutions work great.

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins

I made this as a cake in one of those oversized cupcake things. I would not recommend doing so, nor would I recommend using the filling recipe provided here. Something is off about it, although I can't quite place what. Smells great, but it's been 5 days, and it's barely half eaten; usually in my house anything with pumpkin in it disappears in about a day. Find a better recipe.

Streusel Topped Blueberry Muffins

Yum! I used the zest from an entire lemon, and wish I'd added more, or added a bit of lemon juice. I can't get enough of the combination of lemon and blueberry. Also, not sure if it's because I made these vegan, but it took me about 50 minutes of cooking rather than 20-25.
