About this Cook
I am 17 years old as of August 2012, and a 2013 graduate of Mother of Divine grace School. I am second oldest of 8 and love them all! I am from a homeschooling family and I live on a small farm/ranch where we milk cows, raise pigs, chickens, bees, and train and ride horses. In my spare time I enjoy teaching and playing piano, playing violin, and sewing.
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy making just about everything.I do prefer cooking over baking.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We cook lamb on Holy Thursday, and always bake a white "lamb cake" for Easter dinner.
My cooking triumphs
My families favorite Cheesy meat loaf.
My cooking tragedies
Can't think of any right now, although I am sure I have had a few :P

Granola Bars II
These granola bars were good but hard. First time I made them I let the cool, and then I cut them but they were to hard to cut. Second time I made them I cut them before they cooled all the way but then they were to hard to bite. I do not know if it is just me.

Granola Bars III
This was delicious! Although I had to double the recipe to have the right amount of batter to fill the9x13 inch pan. I also used honey insteed of sugar so in total I used 1 cup of honey. I had previously used a different recipe for granola bars and they were so hard I could not even cut them, these are nice and soft.

Fluffy White Frosting
This is very good frosting! White and shiny. It kind of tastes like marshmallow. This was one of my first frostings that I have made and it works great it is definently a keeper, and I like the way it stands up.
