VERY sweet! Delicious, but I will cut back on the white sugar next time :)

Iced Tea II

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2013
I started with blueberry tea and 1/2 cup of sugar. It was too sweet, so I added 1/4c. lemon juice, and it was PERFECT! Delicious!

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2013
This is possibly the best loaf of bread that has ever come out of my machine. I used 1.5 tsp of salt as recommended by other reviewers and got a perfectly fluffy loaf.

Creamy Pumpkin Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2011
Like other reviewers, I added 1/2 tsp of ginger and nearly 1 tsp more of salt. It was still DELICIOUS! Will definitely make this again!

Jim's Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2011
I leave out the olives and pimentos, and I tend to make my own version of a creamy dressing based on one my grampa made for most of my childhood, but this is a GREAT salad. It's very versatile, you can add in other veggies, take some away, whatever suits your tastes (or your guests) that day.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2011
Wonderful, always turns out delicious. My BF said it's better than his mother's. I use a pre-shredded mozzarella/emmental blend for the top cheese layer.

Pilgrim Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2011
This recipe is absolutely fool-proof. The crust is the best, flakiest and easiest crust to make, and the pie filling is just delicious. I find the filling is a little much to fill a 9" pan, and instead use an 11" ceramic pan I got from my gramma. More pie for everyone!

Dark Chocolate Bacon Cupcakes

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
I made these for a holiday party, and while the partygoers brought mixed reviews (mostly of the "Chocolate? Bacon??" variety) I thought they were amazing. The cupcake itself was so light and fluffy, I couldn't even taste the coffee, and the bacon was simply delicious mixed in. I used skim milk mixed with 1tbsp of vinegar instead of buttermilk, olive oil instead of vegetable, and I used an entire package of thick-cut bacon. Simply amazing, and I will definitely be making them again.
