Honey Baked Chicken II

Oh my gosh this stuff is delicious!! I used boneless , skinless chicken thighs instead of a whole chicken and a 1/2 a stick of butter. I also added a 1/2 tsp of garam masala, which was amazing! I paired it with jazmine flavored rice and it definitely gave it a more Indian flair. I'm already planning on making this again next week!

Bread Pudding II

Mom's Buttermilk Biscuits

I had extra buttermilk on hand that was about to go bad, so my boyfriend and I decided to make biscuits. These were beyond amazing. I literally had to stop myself from consuming every last one of them. I followed others advice and uped the baking powder to 2.5 tsp, uped the baking soda to a 1/2 tsp, and threw in a pinch of sugar for good measure. Now I'm going to have to restrain myself from heating up the leftovers.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

This tasted fantastic, but it definitely needs to be blended (not stirred) with more milk for it to be spreadable. I could eat this stuff by the spoonful though and had to convince myself that the cake needed the frosting more than my thighs did.

Chocolate Fudge Buttercream Frosting

Maybe it was my choice in ice cream topping, but this had a very odd aftertaste. But because I was short on time, I decided to use it on my cake anyway and everyone seemed to really like it. I don't think I'll make it again.

Cake Balls

Amazing!! I did chocolate fudge cake mix/chocolate frosting and butter cake mix/vanilla frosting both dipped in milk chocolate. I seriously couldn't stop eating them. Next I'm going to try banana cake mix/cream cheese frosting!!

Simple White Cake

I followed this recipe and had two beautiful 6 inch rounds to use as a second tier of a cake. And maybe this is a novice mistake, but I put the cake in the fridge (b/c I used cream cheese icing and felt funny leaving it out), and upon taking it out and cutting, the cake was very dry. Fast forward 12 hours and the cake has been sitting out and is now the perfect moist cake I was looking for. I will use this recipe again and stick to buttercream next time.

Pro Ganache

This needed quite a bit of time in the fridge for it to stiffen up enough to pour over my cake. A couple of hours still left me with more a glaze than the ganache I was looking for. Tasted great though, and no one seemed to mind the messy presentation. I poured it over chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting. Soooo good!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Even my father who is not a fish person liked this recipe. Just make sure you put the mixture on after its cooked for a few minutes. (Once I put the mixture on first by accident and ended up with a sloppy/soupy combination on top). I will definitely be making this again.

Marshmallow Fondant

I'm giving this four stars mostly because I feel like it didn't yield enough for what I was making. Next time I will double the recipe. And I would avoid using a hand mixer- mine started smoking!!! Lol luckily I didn't kill it, but I will either use a kitchen aid or my hands next time.

This was amazing coffee cake and would be even more amazing if you double the strousel. I would suggest putting half on during the last 10 minutes of baking and the rest right out of the oven. I will definitely be making this again.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

I took previous reviews into consideration and only used a 1/2 cup of oil and man this cake was amazing. I can see it from across my kitchen and let me tell you, I'm having to restrain myself from devouring the rest of it!! I substituted chocolate fudge cake mix for the devils food mix and kept to the regular sized chocolate chips and it was so good.

Wow this was amazing!!! I definitely left it in too long and the bottom burned, but it was still so good after I did some slicing. I will totally be giving this another try after some tweaking with the cook time.
