Eggless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2013
These were incredibly good. I substituted whole milk with a little vinegar (no buttermilk on hand), used crunchy peanut butter, and added a splash of vanilla extract. Baked for 11 minutes, they were perfect. The texture is amazing, thin cookie that is pretty soft and chewy with just bit of crispness around the edges. Beware that if you drop a tablespoon size amount of dough, you'll have some really BIG cookies. Not a problem for me! Thanks for the recipe...

Moroccan Chicken and Whole Grain Couscous

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2012
This is a really good recipe! This dish has warmth, a lot of vegetables and great flavor. After reading the other reviewers, I doubled up on the spices, added some chili powder for a bit of heat and also sauteed some garlic with the onions. I didn't have any broth in the house, so subbed in 2.5 cups of water and it worked out fine. I did cook it much longer than the time noted in the recipe. Hubby loved it, would definitely make it again! Thanks Myleen :-)

Simply excellent! It takes literally less than 10 minutes to make this tartar sauce and it tastes better than anything I've had elsewhere. Thank you!

Easy Lamb Shawarma

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
You can cook this in the oven at high temp (425 degrees for about 25 mins and it turns out great. You don't necessarily have to fry it I didn't use this recipe exactly, since I found the lamb meat pre-spiced at my local halal meat store. I kept it in the fridge for 1 day and cooked (by baking in a shallow dish lined with foil) the following evening. When served with warmed pita and the traditional yogurt-tahini sauce it is great. My husband loved it! BTW- the sauce can be made with some freshly chopped mint, about 2 freshly chopped garlic cloves, a couple of tablespoons plain yogurt, 1-2 tablespoons of tahini and a squeeze of fresh lemon.

Rosemary Pesto-Crusted Lamb Steaks

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
Fantastic! My lamb steaks were thin so the 10-15 min frying time worked well. For something thicker, I think they'd need a bit more cook time. The rosemary seasoning is a perfect compliment to the lamb.I would make this again.

Tarragon Green Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
This is a great green bean recipe. I used fresh tarragon, and omitted the lemon-pepper seasoning and they were so tasty! The sweet flavor of the sauteed celery is a perfect compliment to the beans, as well as the tarragon. Will definitely make this again.

Double Chocolate Biscotti

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2009
I substituted almonds instead of the white chocolate pieces and used dark chocolate chips. These cookies are absolutely wonderful, excellent recipe!! As others have noted, it does take a little time to make these, but all in all it's not that hard and they are such a treat to have around. Definitely worth the effort.
