Seven Layer Tex Mex Dip

Reviewed: May 4, 2013
We loved it! We left out the mayo and olives, only because I have some olive haters in the family. Great dip! This recipe is quick, simple, and delicious.

BLT Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2012
I made this for my daughter's baseball team picnic. It was a hit! The only thing I changed was adding green onions instead of a regular one, just for color. I wanted to try using the packets of Hidden Valley Ranch mix, like other users, but didn't have the mayo I needed. Next time, I might try it, but honestly it tasted amazing the way it was written! Thanks for sharing!

Garlic Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2012
This was excellent!! Surprisingly, I didn't have any egg, so I used milk and a bit of sour cream. Just enough to get the breading to stick. Had a lot of flavor and very tender. Everyone loved it, even my picky little ones. Will add to the rotation.

Baked Cheddar Bacon Spread

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2011
Excellent dip! I made it for Thanksgiving and received lots of compliments! Excellent flavor! I think the next time I may omit the cheese on top or at least put it on when it comes out of the oven and let it slowly melt so the cheese doesn't form a skin which makes it hard to dip. Will definitely make again!

Classic Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2011
This was an excellent recipe. I was afraid it was going to be too sweet, so I cut the sugar in half, but I really dont think I needed to. I also added hard boiled eggs, just because of personal preference, it was just as good without. I love the dressing, it was excellent for a summer cookout!

Best Spanish Rice

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2011
I loved this! It turned out fluffy with just enough flavor. It did take about 30 minutes instead of 20, but I was using a medium size skillet. This will be a staple on Mexian night in our house!

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
Im always looking for a tasty, fluffy pancake batter and came across this one with a high rating. And I know why!! These were so light, fluffy and full of flavor! Its my staple pancake recipe now! Excellent. I did add a little vanilla the second time I made it, but it certainly didnt need it. Delicious!

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
Like a lot of other reviewers, I had been searching for a good french toast recipe for a long time. I always found ones that left the french toast soggy or lacking the rich flavor like in the restaurants. I finally found it! Flour is the key. I didnt change a thing! My picky preschoolers LOVED it and thats the best taste test there is in this house! Make sure you wisk the mixture with each bread slice so you get the cinammon coat and also, I added a bit more cinnamon to each side when drying. EXCELLENT!

Paul's Pumpkin Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2010
These were a hit! Based on advice of other reviewers, the only change I made was I used Libby's Pumpkin Pie Mix instead of pumpkin puree for more flavor and to make these moist. These were delicious!

Broccoli and Tortellini Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2010
I was looking for a different recipe to take to a Labor Day cookout, I was tired of potato salad and Macaroni salad. Then I came across this one. It was incredible!! I doubled the dressing like the other users suggested, made a HUGE difference. We bought Barilla's cheese filled tortillini in the bag, and it was delicious. Only thing I omitted were the raisins. A HUGE hit, loved it!

Garlic Green Beans

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2010
This was an excellent variation to a staple in our home, green beans! It added so much flavor. I didn't have canned green beans, so I used fresh and steamed them until crisp but tender before adding them to the sauted butter, olive oil, and garlic. I only used 3 cloves instead of an entire head. Next time I might add more, but it was yummy! Even my pickiest eater liked it.

Chocolate Surprise Cupcakes

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2010
I make cupcakes often for family birthdays and these were by far the tastiest. I did use a cupcake mix and like other reviewers, I filled the cupcake cups 1/3, dolloped the cream cheese mix on top, and added the remaining cupcake mix. These were fantastic!!

Chicken Breasts with Herb Basting Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2010
Excellent! I did not have any marjoram, but used the rest of the ingredients. I used boneless skinless. Like other users, I baked the chicken covered for 25 minutes and then uncovered them for the last 20 to get them golden brown. The chicken was juicy and very flavorful.

Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2010
These were incredible. I was baking chicken at the time and the oven was set for 425, so instead of roasting the garlic for the potatoes, I sauted them in the olive oil instead. Even my pickiest eater loved them. Excellent!

Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
This was an excellent version. Like a lot of the other reviewers, I mixed the tomato soup in with the meat mixture instead of pouring it over the top. It was moist and had a lot of flavor. Will make again.
