Glazed Corned Beef

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2014
This recipe was amazing! I used others reviews and cooked it in a crock pot all day (10 hours) on low. I covered the meat in a wheat beer instead of using water. It was truly amazing. My family loved it and it was SO easy. An easy crock pot meal that will be added to our list of favorites!

Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2013
This is an amazing recipe. I have never been a huge fan of lentil soup but now I am! I added extra garlic, onions, celery, and carrots because our family likes the veggies. My husband and I ate it everyday for lunch last week and didn't get tired of it! It's a keeper.

Easy Sugar Cookies

Great Flavor and texture. I did what other reviewers said and added a bit more butter and a bit less flour. PERFECT! We used colored sugar crystals and they look beautiful too. Great recipe that we'll be using again!

Mall Pretzels

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2011
FABULOUS recipe. My kids always want pretzels from the mall and the water park. I decided to make them at home to show them the price difference. WOW! For a couple of dollars we made a dozen pretzels that are to die for. The kids said, "These are the BEST pretzels we've ever had!!!!"

Fluffy Pancakes

A great recipe. Very fluffy and it has great flavor. You'll need to double/triple the recipe. It only makes 10 very small pancakes. My family of 5 wanted more!

Classic Waffles

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2013
Great flavorful recipe. I added 1/4 c rolled oats, 2 tbs ground flax seed, and 1 tbs chia seed to boost the nutrition. I also use blend of whole wheat and white flour. Our kids beg for these waffles and LOVE it when I make them.

Our family lovs this recipe. I use 1/2 whole wheat flour and thrown in about 1 cup of uncooked oats for added nutrition. I love that the batter keeps for about a week so I can make a couple before shool in just a few minutes! THANKS for th great recipe.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
WOW! A huge hit at the New Year party we attended. The only change I will do for next time is double the raspberry sauce. I would have liked to have extra to drizzle over the top when serving. EVERY BIT AS GOOD as the $7.95 Cheesecake Factory piece I had earlier in the week!!!

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2010
I made a double recipe for Thanksgiving. They were ALL gone. Delicious. I used my Kitchen-Aid mixer with the bread hook to knead and let it rise in a warm place. Watch them carefully in the oven. They cook quickly and are better if baked just enough! YUMMY!

I made this again for my best friends birthday. It was fantastic. In fact, her family took her out to the Cheesecake Factory that night and she told them, "I'll have my dessert at home!"

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
Very good--soft. We added a bit more cinnamon because we love the flavor. We used an ice cream scoop to put them on the pan and did not flatten. They turned out perfectly that way!

Cinnamon Rolls III

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2010
This is an awesome recipe. We've made it a couple of times now! I do not have a bread machine and made the dough in my kitchen aid mixer and it turned out fine. We doubled the filling...a bit much. 1 1/2 times would be fine. I took the advice of other reviewers and used the entire package of pudding mix. THANKS FOR THE GREAT RECIPE!

Great recipe. I added an extra 1/2 c. sugar so it would be sweeter and an extra 3 tsp. pure vanilla for flavor. This is a keeper!

Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2014
To add nutrition, we add a couple of cans of beans--great northern and kidney. We also add fresh spinach right before we eat it. My husband loves the pasta, but I find it gets soggy...so only add what you are going to eat right away. I make it in the crock pot and it makes the entire house smell amazing! I make enough for us to eat it for lunch all week and it keeps wonderfully---if you don't add the pasta.
