Chicken Pot Pie IX

This was sooo good. I doubled the sauce like some previous reviews said to do, but I couldn't fit it all in the pie crust. I think 1 1/2 times the sauce would have been enough. I will definitely make this again!

Chicken Tortilla Soup V

This was the best soup I have ever had. I followed the recipe exactly except I used 3 cans of chicken broth and pureed my salsa because I do not like chunky salsa. I made some white rice, put it in the bowl the topped with chips, soup, cheese, and sour cream. AMAZING! My husband, son, and father said they want this at least once a week.

David's Yellow Cake

This was a very good cake. Everyone in my family said it tasted just like my great grandmas homemade cake, which was a compliment to me. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is it wasn't dry, but it wasn't as moist as I would have liked.

Blueberry-Orange Muffins

I made these with strawberries instead of blueberries because it is what I had on hand and they were very good. A great breakfast muffin that isn't too sweet with a hint of orange flavor. The oats give them a good texture too. They did dry up after a day or so, so eat them quick.

Apple Brownies

I followed the recipe exactly and these were amazing. My husband said he actually like these better than my apple pie (which is his favorite dessert). They were like a brownie consistency, but an apple cake flavor. Will definitely make these again. The only thing missing was some vanilla ice cream.

Campbell's® Cheesy Chicken and Rice Casserole

This is 5 stars with the changes I made. Many of the previous reviews said that long grain rice was not completely cooked at the end of cooking time, so I boiled the rice on the stove for 1/2 of the recommended cooking time on the rice bag. I added the rice and the cooking water to the casserole. I did not add additional water to the mixture. I also cut up my chicken and mixed it into the rice mixture and added 2 tbsp ranch dressing and a handful of cheese to the mixture. It was awesome!!

Apple Strudel Muffins

These were great. I took the advice from previous reviews and doubled the apples and added spices to the batter. My husband said these were by far the best apple muffins he had ever had and maybe even th best muffins period.

Blackberry Cobbler II

This blackberry cobbler is amazing! I don't have a cast iron skillet, so I just mixed the blackberry mixture in a sauce pan then poured it into an 8x8 glass dish. This is my new go to cobbler recipe. I have used this recipe for blackberries, triple berry (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries), peaches, and apples and they were all amazing. My father-in-law actually said the peach was the best thing he had ever put in his mouth.

Chocolate Chip Cake

This cake was great! It was very moist and even better the next day. I didn't have any German sweet chocolate,so I just made it without and it was still great. I do recommend putting the chips in with the dry ingredients though because mine sank.
