Broccoli Cheese Soup V

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2007
This was okay - I wouldn't make again, also too salty for us. I like a brighter taste, less processed cheese flavor. Thanks though.

This was fun to make and my daughter loved it. I prefer steamed claims simply dipped in butter. Thanks!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
This was very good. I doubled the sauce and used half for a marinade then thickened the other half for basting. I used half apple juice and half soy sauce because I didn't have low sodium soy sauce and was worried about the salty taste as other reviewers noted. Thanks for the recipe!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2006
Made this exactly per the recipe. So sorry to all the recipe lovers - could only give this 3 stars because it was quick and easy - otherwise the flavor was bland.

Tomato Soup I

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2006
This was awesome! The best tomato soup I've ever had. I pureed the tomatoes in the blender before cooking, heated the cream in the microwave before adding to the soup and didn't have a fresh onion so used onion powder. I also had the grilled cheese sandwiches cooked in the oven from this site. Sharp cheddar cheese on fresh italian bread. So much easier than frying in the pan. Thanks for a great easy recipe!

Must be just a personal preference but this was inedible - didn't care for the taste or combination of spices.

Creamy Pesto Shrimp

Reviewed: May 6, 2006
This is one of the best pasta sauces I've ever tasted. I halved the recipe but followed it exactly. Didn't have any trouble with curdling, separating, clumping, or not being thick enough. After I added the cheese, just as I do when I make alfredo sauce, I whisked the sauce. Thanks so much - can't wait to share this recipe!

It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2006
I loved the consistancy of this chili from the tomato juice - can't wait to add it to my chili recipe but the taste was too bitter for me. I followed the recipe exactly - drives me crazy when people make changes and then post a review!

Sausage Brunch Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2006
This was delicious! So much better with the crescent rolls than the bread. I've had trouble in the past with breakfast casseroles not being done in the middle to I cooked it about 30 minutes on 350. Thanks so much!

I did not care for this at all and I do love kielbasa, just combination that did not taste good to me. Thanks for the post, though.

Do try this with shrimp! Wrapped them all up and cooked them in the crockpot on high. So much better.

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2005
This was absolutely positively the best pecan pie ever! Not sickly syrupy sweet. Everyone at Christmas dinner asked for the recipe. Only changes - used one and one half cups of pecans and put a few on top for decoration.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2005
This was very good. The only changes I made were to add a can of mushrooms an hour before done and sour cream instead of cream cheese. Next time I'll try the cream cheese and definitely double the recipe. As previous reviewers have noted - it will serve 3 hungry folks. I can't imagine adding soup mix to this - too salty! Thanks for a recipe I'll make again.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2005
Gosh, I hate being the wet blanket! This was WAY salty. The saltiness overpowered any flavor. I used Swanson broth,Campbell's soup and one can of domestic beer. Sorry.

Maple Glazed Ribs

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2005
This was delicious! I did not have time for monkeying around as well so used boneless pork ribs, cooked the sauce a bit and then put all in a slow cooker. Followed the sauce recipe exactly and it is so much better than most purchased BBQ sauce. Thanks for the recipe!
