Nadine's Delicious Tilapia

Made this recipe for the family and it went over very well. As suggested by others I added some Panko, used lite soy sauce, added some sesame oil to the soy/egg mixture and added parmesan cheese. Delicious! Thank you for the recipe. Oh, I also dried the tilapia before running it through the flour. This did make the flour stay on the fish.

Apple Crisp II

Let me add my 2 cents to these reviews. Awesome! I made this for a recent get together at my house and people just loved it. Thank you for the recipe! I did use a gallon bag and mixed the apples with the spices. I also doubled the topping and put some on the bottom of the pan. Added a small amount of nutmeg. All of these were suggestions made by others. Oh, I also cut the white sugar to a 1/2 cup. Perfect.

Black Magic Cake

We were having the super bowl party at our house and my plan was to make cupcakes and frosting them with the "colors" of the team. I bought the special frosting; however, I forgot to buy the cake mix! I had the ingredients for this recipe, it had great reviews so I mixed it up. It turned out terrific. The frosting I purchased was pretty sweet and this cake worked perfectly with the frosting. Will be making this again. Thank you.

Grilled Corn with Cilantro Lime Butter

We absolutely loved this recipe. So easy to make and like other posters I had plenty left over. Just put it in the freezer (wrapped) and got it out of the freezer whenever we grilled corn on the cob. Fantastic!

Tortillas I

I tried this recipe because it had such good reviews and I have been wanting to try to make my own tortillas. I have to admit that I really didn't think it would turn out. Boy, I was wrong. The recipe was terrific and so easy to make. At first, I was making them too thick but once I got the hang of it, it was smooth sailing! So good. Thank you for posting the recipe.

Pizza Buns

I made these for my husband and me - daughter wasn't home. We thought they were pretty good. I was hoping they would taste like the ones I had while in high school - not quite like I remember, but still good. We will definitely use this recipe again.

All the reviews sounded so positive. It just didn't work out for us. I'm not sure how I could have messed this up - after all it is so easy. I really wanted this to work out. Maybe I'll try it again just to see if it comes out different.

Easy Chicken Fajita Marinade

I used thin sliced chicken breasts and marinaded them overnight. I was worried it would be too spicy. It wasn't - it had a great deal of flavor. I did not slice the chicken prior to cooking, just put the chicken breasts on the grill and sliced them after they cooked. Everyone liked this recipe - it is a keeper!

Yakitori Chicken

I have made this recipe a few times and it always comes out perfect. I do everything as written except: I don't use the leeks and we grill the skewers. It has a great flavor and the chicken comes out very tender. It's terrific. I pair the leftovers with the Simple Spiced Rice from this site, add my favorite stir fry vegetables and make fried rice in my wok. Excellent. Thank you for the recipe!

Simple Spiced Rice

This rice recipe is terrific. I've made it a couple of times now and haven't been disappointed. I use a smokey basmati rice and it comes out perfect. I really enjoy the hint of the cinnamon. It's very easy to make (followed the recipe to a T) and I use the leftovers to make fried rice. Thank you for the recipe.

Perfect Pulled Pork

I followed the recipe with the exception of using the water. I used beer as was suggested by one commentor. The meat was full of flavor and the whole house smelled wonderful while it was cooking. I don't know if I bought the wrong piece of pork but it was quite fatty. I went to the butcher and told him what I wanted and he gave me pork butt however, it was not boneless. I mentioned this to him and he said it wouldn't make a difference. I'm not sure I buy that! I may cook this again using a boneless pork.

Classic Rice Pilaf

I have been using this recipe for about a year and it comes out perfect every time! I use smoked basmati rice simply because I love the smell and flavor of this particular rice. I make a batch and sometimes I will add leftover chicken pieces prior to baking. Sometimes, using the leftover rice, I will get out my wok, add whatever I have on hand and make chicken fried rice. It works every time and I haven't been disappointed yet. Thanks, Jon!
