5-Minute Microwave Nutella® Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2013
Moist cake. Rich flavor. I was hoping for a little more goo, so next time I am adding a bit more nutella :) I also tried it without salt as many others suggested, but I am going to just add a pinch next time so you have that balance. My only complaint is, how big of mugs do you guys have?!? This recipe is for extra large coffee mugs I guess. I ended up just mixing it in a cereal bowl because I knew it wouldn't fit in my regular mugs. A great dessert size with ice cream for me and my Sweetie. Also, for people who don't like the hazelnut taste add some hot fudge instead or peanut butter as many others suggested. All yummy.

Maple Baked Pork Loin Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2011
The pork loin was extremely moist and tender, but I just didn't get a lot of flavor from the marinade/sauce. I'll try it again and mix some stuff up and we'll see what we get. :)

Unbelievably Awesome Barbeque Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2010
This was quick and tasty. You definitely need that pizza sauce or marinara in there to cut the barbeque flavor and we piled on veggies!

Phyllo-Wrapped Halibut Fillets with Lemon Scallion Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2010
I live in a land of no fresh fish - and doing it with the frozen was horrible. Make sure you have some fresh stuff. Also it was a bit too lemony for us, even after I reduced it by half. I'm sure its delicious with something fresh though

Baked Zucchini Chips

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2010
A fun way to eat your veggies! The kids loved dipping these in the marinara sauce, but make sure you have them nice and thin so they get a little bit of crunch! to them

Roasted Almonds Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2010
Next time I'm going to add a bit more garlic and salt and we toasted our almonds, but we agree with other cooks that a baking time of 20-30 minutes is sufficient. We love sweet potatoes!

No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars

Reviewed: May 27, 2010
we did the less butter/more peanut butter approach - pretty deliscious. Very rich. Make sure you really press the oat mixture down - otherwise ours got crumbly!

Balsamic Roasted Pork Loin

Reviewed: May 20, 2010
This is superb! REALLY MOIST! I have both grilled it and put it in the oven as mentioned and they are both great. I did get the best flavor though when I rubbed it with a greek season mix and then let it marinade over night - will make again and again

Beefy Mushroom Barley Soup

Reviewed: May 20, 2010
great flavors in this one!!!! I would like to try cooking the beef in a little red wine though too to make it even richer - I halved the mushrooms - my family isn't that big on them - but it was really tasty. It also purees down well so my 1 year old enjoyed it the most I think!

Maple Bacon Pancake

Reviewed: May 20, 2010
easy to make - tastes great - not too sweet for my savory hubby. I didn't add the extra sugar, but I did add a bit more bacon and syrup - yum!

Asparagus and Cashews

Reviewed: May 20, 2010
mmmm deliscious....the cashews are so yummy and bad for you :) I would defintely cook the asparagus in the oil mix though - I blanched it and then reheated it in the oil and the asparagus just seemed watery - it didn't soak up enough of the flavor...
