Best Pecan Sandies

still not Keebler Pecan Sandies quality, but better than the other pecan sandies recipes I have tried: I think the egg yolk did it as they don't flatten out. More of a shortbread cookie than the pecan sandies.

Pork Carnitas

I have the meat cut up in cubes & I brown it in bacon fat. I simmer it in the oven at 300 degrees, instead of the stovetop- I add a cup of Coke, a jalapeño, and a clove of crushed garlic to all the other ingredients. After 2 hours, check for tenderness; adjust seasonings, and separate the cubes a bit. Bake another hour. Meat will be crispy on the outside, and very juicy and tender. Makes great tacos or burritos with chopped tomatoes, onions, jalapeño sauce, and cilantro. Guests will devour these carnitas!

Pumpkin French Toast Bake

Made this recipe after breakfast, to use up the pumpkin purée in the fridge, so let it soak up the goodness; baked it just before the new episode of "Revenge," and served it drizzled with Hungry Jack butter Syrup, a dollop of KoolWhip, and lots of crisp bacon! I love the pumpkin in it, and the spices scented the whole house! I halved the recipe; used a tad more spices, let it sit in the fridge 6 hours, and baked it in a brownie pan lined with nonstick foil.

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Cabbage is so reasonable & so good, & these cabbage rolls are better than some I ate at a local Greek restaurant! If you have some leftover homemade marinara, it works better than canned tomato soup!

Best Cream Of Broccoli Soup

Sweet and Sour Sauce I

I like my chicken nuggets, and I never get enough sauce, so I found this recipe and voila! it is so good that I make it all the time for leftover chicken and egg rolls---thanks for such a wonderful recipe!
