One word - delicious. I've made this recipe a number of times now, and I used cold butter instead of shortening, though I imagine cold shortening would work just as well. The first time I made them I thought they weren't a very "pretty" biscuit, so subsequent times I tried to roll/shape them a little as I was dropping them onto the baking sheet. They still aren't as "pretty" as a cut biscuit, but they can be made to look downright delectable. These are delicious as a desert biscuit, and work well with sausage gravy for breakfast. Fast and easy.
