Whole Wheat Pita Bread

Great recipe! Loved the addition of molasses; gives the pitas great flavor. Did not have soy flour so I used 1/2 c flax meal and 1 c all purpose flour. Will try soy next time though. Thanks for posting!

Basic Pasta

Lost my pasta recipe that I used for years and, voila, I found this one. It's so much better than my old one; no additional flour needed to roll. I used my pasta machine and you really don't want your dough to be the least bit sticky. Not so with this recipe. The only thing I did differently was to let it rest for 20 minutes; please do it, you will be glad you did. Thanks so much for posting

Decadent Hummus

This hummus is definitely full of flavor! Realized after I made it that I'd forgotten the feta; when I make this recipe again I will add it. The only change I would make is to use one teaspoon of cumin; a little strong for my taste.

Best Ziti Ever

Could have used more sauce for my taste; a bit dry. Will make note of that and do next time.Did like the addition of ricotta; never used in baked ziti before. I did add cayenne because we like hot foods. Thanks for a good recipe.

I definately will make again because we liked the spicyness BUT will cut the salt back to 1/2 tablespoon or less; way too salty. Thanks for a good recipe.

Ann's Rice Pilaf

We enjoyed this recipe very much. I didn't have Greek seasoning so I used Old Bay since I was serving shrimp also. I also used brown rice instead of white which, of course, increased the cooking time. I liked the brown rice so next time would use about 1/2 the butter and increase the water to 3 cups. Thanks for a great recipe!

Slow Cooker Mexican Casserole

I made this just as the recipe instructed. We found it too dry; we ended up mixing in about 1 cup picante sauce and using as a warm dip with tortillas chips. Of course added some guacamole and sour cream as a condiment. With the additions I would give it 4 stars but as is, it's a 2 star for us.

Broccoli Chicken Stir-Fry

Really nice recipe. I did make a few additions only because we like a hotter sauce. I added 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes and 1 Tablespoon Srirachi sauce. Next time I may add a bit more of the Srirachi; it could have been a bit hotter. Will definatley make again.

Caramelized Spicy Pumpkin Seeds

Have always liked pumpkin seeds and this is one of the best recipes. I did increase the cayenne to 1/4 tsp since I do like things spicier but will increase it still more, probably to 1/2 tsp. I am going to half the cumin also. I did roast the seeds in oven for an additional 10 minutes too since I like my seeds crisper. Thanks for a great recipe!

Spicy Three Pepper Hummus

WOW! Couldn't wait until tomorrow to taste; it was awesome. The one thing I did add was about 1/2 cup of the bean juice to thin and only added 4 cloves of garlic since they were on the large side. Thanks so much.

Bran Flax Muffins

I have been making this recipe (one reviewer was right, it's from the back of a flax seed bag) for a couple of years and it is the best muffin recipe EVER. It leaves a lot of room for experimentation of different veggies; squashes are excellent in it. Thanks so much to the poster of this recipe. I lost my copy and have been searching high and low.
