Mom's Mozzarella Chicken for Drew

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2003
This recipe is absolutely delicious and a very simple variation of a family favorite. The only thing I did was add Italian flavored breadcrumbs to thicken the "gravy" towards the end of cooking. That made it taste even more authentic! Also, I found that using frozen chicken tenderloins did away with any problem with chicken not being tender. Is now on top of family's most-requested list!

Creamy Cheesy Grits

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2011
These are the best, creamiest, cheesiest grits I have ever had, and I've experimented with several other recipes (including Bobby Flay's, sorry Bobby!). Do nothing to change this recipe, it is perfect the way it is. THANK YOU Kristin!

Pan Fried Green Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2004
Excellent!! My mother-in-law cooks hers with hot Italian Sausage - an old Italian recipe - and it is fantastic. This is healthier and very good too. I sauted in the olive oil for a few minutes before turning off the heat, and added fresh minced garlic.

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Perfect as is - for those who want it thicker, just add some yellow corn meal! I love this recipe, very tasty and I ALWAYS get rave reviews.

Quick Hoppin' John Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2014
Very tasty and really makes a big pot! I used 2 cans of Glory brand low sodium blacked-eyed peas, 2 cans of fire roasted tomatoes, threw in slices of smoked turkey sausage and a large can of Glory brand collard greens. Didn't add the extra liquid because I cooked the rice separate, and had corn bread on the side. Excellent base to start and can do so much with this recipe! Thanks ThoHug!

Crispy Herb Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2013
Yummy comfort food (and by the way, gluten-free!) AND my picky daughter loves it too!! Used boneless chicken thighs, and followed the recipe with only slight "tweaks". Used garlic flavored instant potato flakes and used half butter, half organic coconut oil just to make myself feel a little better about the calories. :) Thanks for the recipe, DCANTER!

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
The only thing I changed was to add 1 Tablespoon of cocoa (unsweet, of course), which adds a depth and richness to the broth. Excellent recipe, thanks for sharing!!
