Slow Cooker Pot Roast

I was dying to try this as the ingredients seemed unusual. I can't understand the rave reviews. We were very disappointed. My kids asked me not to make it again. I followed recipe exactly.

Chicken Enchiladas V

This was so easy to make. I doubled the soup/sour cream mixture. I think it would be too dry if I didn't do this. I used Old El Paso taco seasoning. We like things really spicy. It was a big hit.

I didn't add any salt but the whole family thought it was unbearably salty. I love spicy food but found this too spicy. We couldn't eat it.

Amish Meatloaf

I'm sorry but I can't understand the good reviews. I made this as instructed and it came out extremely bland! It was very lacking in flavor. My kids asked me not to make it again. When I took it out of the oven it was half raw.

This is so simple and delicious. The sauce needs to be thickened with a couple of teaspoons of flour. I served over spaghetti and used cremni mushrooms.

Linguine with Peppers and Sausage

This is so simple & a personal favorite. I've done it but use more garlic. I've made it with wine a couple of times and other times substituted wine with chicken broth and added flour to thicken. There are so many possibilities with this. Thanks for the recipe!

Famous Pork Chops

I let me 8 year old daughter make these (supervised). She used only 2 eggs which was plenty and cut way back on the butter. We put them under the broiler for a couple of minutes after taking out of the oven. This is a great, simple recipe and a good one to play around with in future. My kids loved it!
