Apple Dip

Love this recipe and have served it several times at the daycare center I run. Kids love it, staff love it - win-win! I use a mixer to make it really smooth and let it sit for a few hours to help the brown sugar dissolve! YUM!

Quick and easy. Made for Strawberry Shortcake. Very good! Did what others recommended for self-rising flour. Added 1TBSP baking powder and 1 tsp salt. Threw in a dash of sugar as well!

Very easy, but dry. Will add more milk next time. I added some Italian Seasoning for more flavor. The flavor was great...

We loved this one at our house! Took it to the pool one day and I had teenage boys asking me to make them their own loaves! I make this in a mini loaf pan and get four loaves from it. takes about 45 mins for me.

I doubled this..feeding a family of 6 with 2 man - sized boys! We liked it but need to add more sauce next time. I think I will add more "toppings" too. A very easy - quick and versatile recipe!

My whole family of 6 loves this recipe. We make a gravy from the drippings...(found it on this site from another chicken fried steak recipe), with mashed spuds and corn we have a complete, inexpensive meal!

Texas Sheet Cake II

This is the exact same recipe my mother makes....this is easy and quick. Be sure to use a jelly roll pan or the Pampered C.'s bar pan. You can substitue a 1/2 tsp vinegar or lemon juice with milk for the buttermilk. That is how I always make this recipe and I make it about 10 times a year. This is great for a potluck or small group dessert. Feeds a lot of people. Thanks for sharing.
