Perfect Pumpkin Pie

I'm not a big fan of traditional pumpkin pie because they are too dense and heavy. This recipe makes a thick but creamy pie. Very easy, and very good flavor.

I've made this turkey twice. The first time I followed the recipe exactly. The second time I doubled the spices. The second time was the best. Very tender and a great flavor. I made gravy with the liquid in the crockpot. It made a really nice, sweet gravy. My husband and pre-teen boys loved this dish.

Oaty Cereal Bars

These are great! I used Multi-grain Cheerios, crunchy peanut butter, and omitted the whole peanuts. I also put them in an 9x9 pan. They came out terrific. These taste SO much better than store bought cereal bars. Sweet and lightly salty. What more could you want in a snack?!

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread II

This is the BEST banana bread I have ever had. I halfed the recipe and only made one loaf. I too used butter instead of shortening. This bread would still be great without the chocolate chips. Very moist. I sprayed the pan and then used cocoa instead of flour to coat the pan. This is my new favorite sweet bread!
