Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Very good! My husband loved it! I followed the directions and used tips from other reviewers: Beef broth instead of water, 2 packets of italian dressing mix, and deleted the salt. I did add some pepperocinis and some of the the juice for added flavor. I was worried the meat would be tough because I didn't get it in the crock pot early in the day, so in order for it to be done, I cooked it on high for 5 hours then low for 2 more hours. I did see one review that suggested cutting up the beef so I did that to help speed up the cooking. I was sooooo tender!! It shredded very easily and I had the added bonus of being able to pull off some of the fat while I did the shredding. We put the meat and juice on hoagie buns and added provolone and mozzarella cheese and it was delicious! I will make this again and I will try to get it in earlier the next time.

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

I made this recipe tonight and it was delicious!! I followed the advice to dredge the chicken in flour. I used chicken tenderloins so they would cook faster. I added fresh green beans and red, yellow and orange sweet peppers when I added the sauce to the already cooked chicken. The veggies stayed crispy and the sauce thickened up no problem during the 8 minute recommended cooking time. I love this site because I love to read the reviews and the tweeks to the recipes. I agree with all the reviews that this is a keeper. All of my kiddos loved it and agreed it tasted like something from a restaurant. We will definitely be making this easy, wonderful dish again!!!

Asian Lettuce Wraps

Pretty yummy! I had to modify the recipe a bit as we did not have hoisin sauce or chile pepper sauce, but it worked out ok. I looked up the ingredients in hoisin and used a little salt, extra garlic, a teaspoon of sugar and red pepper flakes. I am looking forward to making this recipe with all the ingredients!!

Unbelievable Rolls

This was the easiest yeast dough I have ever made! I took other reviewers advice and made cinnamon rolls from the dough. They were delicious. This will be the only dough I use from now on! For the people who had trouble with this recipe, the key is the temperature when you add the yeast, if it is too hot the dough will not turn out. I am making the dough for rolls tonight with barbque pork, Yum!!

Scalloped Pineapple

I used Italian bread for this recipe and it was fantastic!! My mom said it was even better than what my Great-grandmother made and that was pretty great!! I made it for Thanksgiving and I am making it for Christmas dinner too!! My husband loved it!! Toasting the bread makes a big difference, it keeps the casserole from being soggy!! Soooo Good!
