About this Cook
I love to cook since I can remember I've been cooking for my self and others. It can be a challenge to cook for kids but I always find a way to make my kids love what I make for them, with veggies and all my son Ethan(6)says he doesnt like mushrooms but now he says he loves them cooked only and thats a start!!
My favorite things to cook
Chicken and dumplins my all time favorite, next I'd say spagetti and meatballs and biscuts and gravey all homemad. I really like to cook all food though anything I'll attemp.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Fried potatos and clam dip are the first things that come to mind but not together although it might be really good
My cooking triumphs
This last Thanksgiving I decided to try brining a turkey in a icechest for 2 days. We all got the flu really bad and I still had to open the icechest to add ice 1 to 2 times a day and what smelled real good before I was sick didnt smell that good when I was really sick and after 2 days I didnt want my hard work to go to waste so I had to ccok it talk about hard but wasting food is not an option in my house so we had to smell it and it was hard but after I was better I was so glad because it was the best turkey I ever made I would do it all over again too!!!
My cooking tragedies
Sometimes I over cook chicken and make it dry or something but for the most part nothing huge yet Im sure it will happen though it has to.

Easy Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu
simple and ellegent! I will make this again, I also used swiss and left over Christmas ham. I dipped in butter then in bread crumbs then in buttermilk and bread crumbs again, we love crunchy topping! I would suggest to put more cheese and don't cook as long if it is to dry.. thank you for this recipe
