Believe it or not, I always thought I could cook. Well I learned the sad truth in 2008, after moving away from the kids. I called my daughter for help cooking Christmas dinner. I will never forget what she said, "Mommy what are you thinking? You can't cook. I've been cooking for you since I was nine years old." I was horrified that she would say such a thing. Then it dawned on me. She was telling the truth. Well I have been practicing so I want you all out there to get ready for some pretty decent recipes I'll be submitting!

I've been taught how to make a quick and easy Raspberry Pie and it tastes great too.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I'm learning new traditions since my kids are no longer with me. We do all get together on Sundays and the big guy cooks. We all look forward to it, even him.
My cooking triumphs
Learning to make Raspberry Pie without burning myself!
My cooking tragedies
Christmas dinner in 2008. Absolutely nothing was edible. Luckily we live nearby a wonderful specialty market that was open. Christmas dinner was saved.

Frank's Chopped Salsa
This is a great recipe! I did use Beefsteak tomatoes because they were in the frig and not as many garlic cloves (4) and the kids loved it. I think I can eat this stuff everyday!

Stuffed Pork Chops III
This has to be the easiest recipe i have ever used and it tastes phenomenal. I give it FIVE stars.
