Stuffed Pork Chops with Gorgonzola and Apple

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2012
Awesome! I changed the serving size to 5. used 2.5 apples. I used one pork roast that was about 2 lbs and 2 smaller chops. Went very easy on the thyme. I rubbed a premade pork seasoning on the outside.

Garlic Pasta

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2011
No one really liked this dish. It was truly lacking in flavor. There was a lot left over so I plan to add more herbs (dried this time) and give it another go.

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
Great recipe! Followed the recipe nearly exactly. I doubled the sauce as others suggested but did not double the ketchup. I also used 1 can French onion soup and 1 can beef consomme out of personal preference. I thought using the beef consomme would add a richer flavor. Next time I plan to follow my personal edits and also not double the Worcestershire sauce; it was a little overpowering.

Mediterranean Puff Pastry Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2011
This was SOOO good! I followed the recipe except for the yolk part (forgot about it) and I cut the raw chicken into 1-inch pieces as suggested by other reviewers. The flavors are strong and delicious! My pastries looked like burritos after I wrapped them (about a foot long). Brushed with egg whites before baking to get a nice golden shine. 36 minutes was perfect! Can't wait to make again!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2011
Other than adding 2 tablespoons of vanilla instead of the listed 2 teaspoons, I followed the recipe exactly. Best looking and best tasting cookies I've ever made! Came out soft and dense. Will make again.

Quinoa with Chickpeas and Tomatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2011
The food came out with a nice taste and could easily be a main dish or side dish to poultry. I sauted a little onion with the garlic and added the tomatoes and chickpeas just long enough to heat through (personal preference).

We made this with 98% fat free wheat tortillas, fat free cheese, used pam spray instead of butter, but otherwise followed the recipe as written. Came out delicious!

Lemon Bars I

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
I'm not sure where I went wrong, but they didn't turn out right. The lemon taste was great but the consistency and shortbread were off. I'll make them again

Super good and extremely easy! I layered the cherry filling, pineapple, cake mix, butter pats and walnuts (did not mix them). I added more butter pats to cover more of the cake.

I cut my apples too small and cooked it too long. The flavors weren't quite right.

Party Pinwheels

We didn't find this recipe to be salty (used 2 packs cream cheese per 1 pack ranch dressing mix) and even added sliced ham. the recipe was enough for 6 large Mission spinach tortillas

My oven was occupied so I threw this into the crockpot (with the onions and rice already made) on High for about 3 hours and it came out delicious! I also put in a few extra scoops of Cheez Whiz

Brie Cheese Appetizer

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
When Googling this recipe I found varying oven temps and times. I settled on 400 degrees for 25 mins and it came out perfectly brown. I let it sit for about 15 mins and dived in! It was delicious!

Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2010
I forgot to include the breadcrumbs, but it was still delicious! I used 1lb Velveeta, about 4oz american/cheddar mixture, 4 oz colbyjack, and 8 oz muenster. I did have to leave out some of the cheese mixture as it wouldn't fit in my pan.

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
This is a great basic recipe. I'm rating it 4 out of 5 because it was bland. I added more oregano, basil, then bay leaves and thyme. Next time I plan on adding more onion and garlic. Definitely add a tablespoon of brown sugar to cut the tartness! **Update: 5 stars based on the changes listed above. I omit the wine all together. I've made this many times and it doesn't disapoint.

Pretty good! Made as written with the exception of the butter (just didn't see the point in the extra fat). Easy to put together. Will make again.

Buster Bar Ice Cream Dessert

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
Wow super rich! I couldn't finish my piece- and I have a huge sweet tooth! I used a spring form pan. After making the fudge sauce I poured it into two bowls and put about 3 heaping tablespoons of peanut butter into one. I added the cooled chocolate fudge to the chilled oreo crust, put it back in the fridge for an hour, added the ice cream, then put the spanish peanuts and peanut butter chocolate fudge on top. Next time I'll halve the fudge (but still add the peanut butter!) if I use the spring form pan and use fewer oreos (I took the icing out)

I added 5 garlic cloves because mine were kinda small. Very, very good! It had nice flavor and can stand on its own without any gravy.
