Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: May 19, 2010
WOW!!! Delicious! reading other reviews- I added 1 extra egg and added 1 tbs of vanilla to the batter and doubled the cinnamon on crumb topping. I kept everything else the same and made 12 big muffins. I had not problems with the crumb topping sinking in. I cooked for 18 mins and they were warm, moist, and incredible. The best muffins I have ever had. I will make this again and again.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: May 12, 2010
AMAZING!! I have been trying different cornbread recipes and none of them satisfied my taste until this! I mixed all ingredients in the pot I melted butter in which was done easily, quickly, and wasnt messy at all (like other reviews). I did cut sugar to 1/3cup (from reviews) BUT I will use all the sugar next time. We like our cornbread sweet and that was the only thing lacking to us. I didnt have buttermilk so I mixed 1cup milk and 1tbs lemon juice together and sat it out for 10mins. I cooked in 9x9 baking dish sprayed with butter flavored cooking spray for 30 minutes. DELICIOUS. This is a keeper Finally and I will make this again and again

I will freeze half. I will make this again for sure. I made this with Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread from this site which was amazing too! Overall- a wonderful dinner

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
As great as everyone else said!! I have to admit, at first I didn't know why this would taste so good, but it really is AMAZING! Thanks to all the reviewers comments. I used a frozen Wal-mart mix of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and backberries, 3 fresh kiwi, 1 apple-dipped slices in lemon juice to prevent browing. I diced all except blueberries and raspberries small to scoop easily with the chips. NO sugar used or needed. 1 1/2TBS of strawberry preserves. Sat out for 2hrs before serving and it was perfect for the juices to form. Tortillas-4 to 1 ratio sugar to cinnamon. Butter spray to both sides and put in ziplock bag to shake then sliced w/pizza cutter and sprayed tops again and put in oven for 10 min @ 350. Came out perfect and crisp. Great by themselves as well. Made for a baby shower w/18 guests. Enough for all and so many raves. Everyone was impressed and couldn't believe I made the chips. Recipe very forgiving and only took me 40min to complete. Must try and I will be making this all the time! Cost me only $10.00. What a great fruit recipe without paying the high Fruit price

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2009
Amazing! Just as everyone else said and I also decreased sugar to 1 1/2cups as well, used ginger ale, took out of freezer 3 hrs before party and garnished with orange slices. So many compliments and it was gone by the end of the party!!
