Royal Coconut Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2012
These were great! I made them exactly according to the instructions. The only thing that I messed up on was under estimating how many oats I had on hand so I improvised using two original Quaker Oatmeal packets to make up the difference. Still wonderful! After the first batch I contemplated adding chocolate chips but decide they were just to good to mess with.

Braided Easter Egg Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2012
I have to start by saying I'm a native New Yorker now living in the Midwest and the whole reason I made this recipe is bc one review said it taste like the bread you get in the NYC bakeries. This bread was so great! I can't find anything like this out here and I'm so greateful to be able to make my own now. I read lots of other reviews and I did make some minor changes bc of the other reviews. I upped the sugar to 1/3 of a cup and next time I think I'll go for 1/2 cup (personal preference) I also skipped the butter and did an eggwash in place of it. I think it made the breads presentation. Finally I checked my bread at 20 mins and took it out at 25 mins and it was perfect! Thanks so much for sharing! It's like having a little piece of home!

Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2012
This was really enjoyable. I made mine with skim milk (that's what we had) and I used splenda in place of the sugar. Everything worked out great. The best part was when my 3 year old tried it not only did she love it! She thought it was icecream! Woohoo! Healthy homemade icecream! Thanks for sharing.

Jennie's Heavenly Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2012
This is so simple and SO delicious! I'm new to slow cookers (like brand new just took my slow cooker out of the box)and what a recipe to start with. I made this with the exact ingredients listed. The only thing I did different is my slow cooker you can also cook on the stove top so I made the sauce in the slow cooker then made room for the chicken and covered them. On low I cooked it for about 5 hours and the chicken literally shred apart as I tried to get it out of the pot. I will be making this again and again. Thanks for sharing!

Basil Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2011
This was great. I did up the seasoning in the mix by about a half a tsp each. I'm slightly obsessed with spices. I didn't add the oil but I did coat my chops and let them marinate in the fridge for about 3 hours. The sauce after it cooked was perfect addition. thanks for sharing!

These were wonderful! The first batch I made exactly according to the recipe. And they were great. Save your self time double the recipe the first time. Bc then I needed to make a second batch. So in the second batch I tried one of the other review suggestions and added 1 tsp of vanilla. Holy cow! I didn't think these could get better but they were mind blowing with the vanilla. Thanks for sharing!

Spinach Enchiladas

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2010
These were SO good!!!! I followed the suggestions about adding seasonings to the filling so I decieded to add cajun seasoning to the filling. I also used cheddar cheese instead of the montery because that's what I had. And I uped the cheddar to 2 cups in the filling. I also used jalopeno cheddar wraps, and personally I think they made these. These are a definitely a keeper!
