Baklava

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2008
WOW.... This was great! My daughter is having a Greek Day for her social studies class. This was a great recipe...simple to follow and not as time comsuing as I orginally thought. I used a mixture of walnuts and pecans, and I plan to sprinkle on some icing sugar as a garnish. OPA!!! Annie

Purple Apple Slaw

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2007
I am reviewing the dressing only. I really enjoyed the dressing. I had run out of my store bought stuff and whipped this one up. I used a prepackage cabbage salad, and added a bit of green onion. I was even better the next day. I will definitely make this again.

Melt - In - Your - Mouth Shortbread

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2005
I am not a shortbread fan, but these were pretty good. I doubled the recipe, and added 2 tsp of almond extract to the dough. I used a mini ice cream scoop to make the shape, then I added a couple of slivered almonds to each cookie. My kids LOVE them. In fact, I am making my second double batch in a few minutes! Enjoy and Merry Christmas! Annie

This was so yummy! I really enjoyed this. I didn't have any chicken stock, so I used beef, and I WILL definately make this again.

This is AWESOME!!! No substitutions...except for a dollop of vanilla ice cream. THIS is what autumn is all about! Enjoy.

Soft Molasses Cookies II

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2004
These were really good. Some modifications...I reduced the molasses to 1/2 cup (it was all I had), and added 1/4 cup sour cream. I also used brown sugar, instead of white...to make a softer cookie. My kids are loving them as I type! I will make them again!

Magic Cookie Bars from EAGLE BRAND®

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2003
I have been making this for years...with a little twist. Instead of using graham wafer crumbs, I use Oreo cookie crumbs. This gets rave reviews whenever I make it!
