Spooky Witches' Fingers

This was so easy that my 7 year old son was able to do almost everything by himself - even rolling and shaping the fingers. The cookies look awesome but are very bland.

Pumpkin Roll II

Easy to make and every liked. I used pecans and chilled for more than 8 hours before serving. Also - wait to dust with powered sugar right before serving, otherwise all the sugar soaks into the cake.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

These meatballs are great! I bake them at 350 for about 15 minutes before putting them in the sauce. Steam in the sauce for about 20 minutes.

I followed this recipe exactly and there is simply not enough liquid. I ended up adding an extra egg, another tablespoon of butter and the sherry before it became dough like.

Easy and tastes great, even warmed up the next day. I would suggest reducing the bake time by about 10 minutes though, my crust was very overdone.

Portuguese Pork with Red Peppers

Fool proof recipe - I didn't marinate, the pork chops were still partly frozen when I cubed them. I didn't have peppercorns or corse salt, so used regular pepper and sea salt. I even forgot the lemon juice at the end and it was REALLY GOOD. I can't imagine how great it will be when I actually follow the recipe! (I did use the 1 cup chicken broth in addition to the wine that another user suggested)

Mama D's Italian Bread

This was my first attempt at making bread EVER! Was very easy, followed all instructions exactly and they came out perfectly. I did use the other reviewer’s suggestion of spritzing water on the loaves every few minutes for the first part of the baking.

My husband and I grew up in New Mexico and this is exactly right! The trick is to use lard!! I doubled the recipe for a 4 pound pork tenderloin, as we like extra sauce. I cubed the meat, put it in the icebox overnight and then cooked in the Crockpot for 8 hours on low.
