Mrs. Sigg's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2010
These Biscuits were a hit at my house! I used someone's suggestion of an extra 1/2 cup of PB and flour and all butter rather than shortening. Sweet and crunchy (I used crunchy PB).

Homemade Chicken Parmigiana

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2010
This chicken dish was delicious! I have had it in restaurants but this was better. Tender and juicy, instead of frying it all the way, I browned the crumbed pieces and baked them in the turbo oven until they were done. This gives the oil a chance to drain as well. I couldn't help but tamper with the sauce. I didn't add the cream and I added oregano. To the crumbs I added onion powder, paprika and a pinch of salt.

Candy Cane Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2009
When I looked at the picture of these cookies, I went "Wow, they look awesome". After a frustrating half-hour of trying to get the crumbly dough into something that slightly resembled a candy cane, I gave up and made them into spirals. The red dough was almost useable but the 'white' was crumblier than shortbread dough! I won't be using this particular recipe again.

Chocolate Crinkles II

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
These are great, if not a bit sweet for my liking. I cut down the sugar by 100 grams although I would cut it down next time by 150g instead. I put the dough in the freezer for 1 hour and rolled them into balls using wet hands. I clean my hands every second or third cookie and to coat them I got a round bottomed rice bowl of 11cm diameter and put in the icing sugar. Then I put in the ball and quickly swirled the bowl. The cookie quickly becomes coated evenly and rounded very well. No mess at all. Remember to dig up the icing sugar after each cookie as it can form a compacted shell.

Frozen Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
I made it (6 servings, without walnuts) and I found that it was far softer sweeter than I would have liked. I would have but more flour and less sugar in it. Mini MnMs are great instead of chocolate buttons.
