Raspberry Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2012
I didnt have rasberry vinegar and i've never made my own salad dressing but i wanted to try something new so i pureed 1 cup of thawed frozen rasberries and used 3/4 cup regular white vineger. It is sooo good. Even my 5 year old will eat it when tossed on aples as a school lunch snack. Thank you so much

Ants on a Log

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2011
i love this! i make it all the time. I find that for smaller children though it is hard to bite through so i take and cut the celery into then strips, melt the pb in the mic. till it is pourable and then drizzle it over top the celery pieces and the cellery sticks. Stick it back in the fridge until the pb hardens again and poof aints in the grass :P

Lunch Box Hot Hot Dogs

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2011
I do this for my son all the time! The preheating technique works great for keeping just about any food warm longer. Hot dogs and beans, spagettios, mini meetbalss with sauce, soups etc. The tip i would suggest to moms is to wrap a dry wash cloth around the thermos to keep the heat in longer and keep other things in the lunch box from getting soggy/warm from steam :)

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2010
Ive made this twice, the first time was as directed except with a roast instead of tenderloin and it was a bit salty. SO the secondtime i left out the soy and instead of the onion packet i took some of the onion i have dehydrated and crushed them and used that instead w/ half the garlic and a little basil added to the top of the roast. This time it was mouthwatering and very juicy. FYI since i'm using a bigger roast i cooked it about 6 low for the 4lb i used the first time and 8 for the 5.5 the second time.
