Kerri's Holiday Punch

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2011
This is my go-to punch for any large gathering--and it is a favorite of all our friends. One concern is that it is so tasty that it can certainly pack a punch...so be careful! ;) Overall, I am thrilled that I found this recipe--we even served it at our wedding reception!

Slow-Cooked Pork Barbecue

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2011
Hubby and I loved this--ate it for multiple meals. I used Dr. Pepper and Sweet n Spicy (Sweet Baby Ray's) sauce. It is better the day after. The only change I made was that I dumped it all in the crockpot at the beginning--no waiting to put in sauce. I cooked it overnight and then pulled it and let it simmer in its sauce for a good 30 minutes more.

Sherry Chicken Curry

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2011
This was okay, but definitely lackluster. Something very important was missing from the flavor--but I'm not sure what. It smelled and looked great, so it was disappointing to taste it and realize it was so-so. We added a lot of salt and siracha sauce to make it more palatable. I will not make it again.

Oven Fresh Seasoned Potato Wedges

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2013
These are delicious! Definitely check and bake until done--I baked mine 35 minutes or so for extra crispiness.

Dee's Roast Pork for Tacos

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2011
This is a great dish for a crowd or to eat off of for several nights. The pork is not spicy, however--just flavorful. I have cooked it in foil in a roaster and it turned out beautifully, but I like the ease of preparing it in the crockpot (omit foil--cook on high for 5-6 hours). I cook it exactly as directed--delicious and crowd pleasing!
