Winner! This is one of my favorites. I pound out the chicken before I cook it. I add mushrooms and blanched asparagus. It is fantastic!

These are amazing. They are the only way I eat my wings. I do add more cayenne pepper.

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2010
I have tried many ways of roasting a chicken. This is the only way I do it now. I do add a little garlic powder to the spice mix. Best!

Carrot Cake III

BEST CAKE EVER. It is so good it is dangerous. My boyfriend who doesn`t like sweets or desserts always requests that I make this. It is perfect as written. Great recipe.

Very good base soup. I don`t add the tomatoes or peas just because that is my preference. Very yummy!

Chicken Satay

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2010
This was amazing! My boyfriend and I loved it. I had never cooked with curry before so I was nervous, don`t be intimidated it turned out wonderful. I served this with thai cucumber salad, and peanut butter noodles. I cut the chicken breasts into strips and pounded them before marinating overnight. I added some ginger. It was wonderful!

Pork Chops Deluxe

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2010
This was fantastic! I did do a few things differently but not much. I seasoned the pork chops, and when they were cooked I added onion and garlic to the pan to cook off. Then I de-glazed with white wine. I added all the ingrediants with the pork chops and added more wine and some zucchini. Let that all cook covered for 30 minutes on medium simmer. This was awesome.

Easy Strawberry Pudding Parfaits

Reviewed: May 9, 2010
This is really good. I didn`t use the sugar because I find jam sweet anyway. I was glad I did or it would have been too sweet. But it was awesome. Would make again. If you don`t like too sweet leave out the sugar. But try this recipe, easy and yummy!

Lemon Rice Pilaf

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
This rice was amazing! I didn't have pine nuts, but the recipe was great without them. Other than that I followed this recipe to the word. The flavour was subtle but strong. Does that make sense? Either way it was the perfect pairing for Dill Salmon. Such a fresh meal.

Dill Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
This was so good! I always try the recipe word for word for an honest review before making adjustments, this time was no different. It doesn't need any changes. On it's own the sauce does taste strong and maybe to 'mustardy', but baked on salmon (which is how I prepared it) it was fantastic. True crowd pleaser. Very creamy and subtle. Definite keeper. I finally found the perfect dill sauce!

Ruth's Grandma's Pie Crust

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2009
I don't understand how this recipe was reviewed so highly! I do not agree! I followed everything to the word and had everything cold but it didn't turn out well at all. It was greasy to say the least. It was crumbly and fell apart after cooked. It was not too hard to work with, all pastry is delicate and I know that so I was careful. I just did not like the end product. It lacked flavor and completely fell apart. It may be a case of the the cook not the recipe, but this isn't my first pie by any means and I have never had this problem. Too much shortening.

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2009
I listened to the other reviewers and dissolved 1T of flour into 1/4 cup of butter and added it to the rest of the ingredients. I'm glad I did because it worked well, I cooked it for the full 45min and it turned out perfect. I gave it a 4 star because I did change the recipe, and also because it wasn't as ooey gooey as I was hoping. I think it lacked flavor too. Other reviewers said it was too sweet. I don't agree. I think next time I will try brown sugar, but yes there will be a next time!

Cinnamon Rolls I

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2009
This was my first time making cinnamon rolls, and this recipe was very easy. I didn't have any issues. I did take the advice of other reviewers and double the filling. I'm glad I did because even doubling it, the rolls were still a little dry. Not as gooey as I hoped for, but good tasting. I will definitly try these again and hopefully practice will make perfect! These rolls were good but not perfect, even with some adjustments.

Japanese Sesame Steak Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2009
I am in LOVE with this sauce and frequent the restuarant that it is served at, just for this sauce. Now I can finally make it at home! Upon first taste it tasted a little heavy on the ginger, but letting it sit for about 20 minutes in the fridge made all the flavors meld. LOVE IT! Thanks so much, my search is over. Try it, you won't like steak without it after trying it!
