Magic Peanut Butter Middles

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2010
A really good surprise cookie! Not as difficult as they might seem. I've made them twice, and refrigerated the peanut butter filling both times. I've found that it keeps the peanut butter from melting as much, and keeps it with the same consistency if they're refrigerated. I refrigerated the chocolate dough the second time I made the cookies, but I wouldn't recommend that. It dried out the dough and made it difficult to work with afterwards. A big success though!

Bruschetta I

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2009
This Bruschetta recipe turned out really well! The only thing that I will change if I make it again would be to remove some of the oil. I thought it was just a big greasy, but overall, great flavor!

Very Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
These turned out great! I baked them for about 16 minutes, and they were still soft, but not dough-y. A big hit! :)

Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2009
This frosting was a complete bust for me! It was incredibly thick and bitter and not very good at all. I ended up doctoring it up with milk and even melting some milk chocolate into it, but it still wasn't very good. I wouldn't recommend it.

White Layer Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2009
I really was not a fan of this cake. I thought it would be a safe bet considering that it was rated with 4 1/2 stars, but it didn't turn out well for me at all. It was very heavy and somewhat dry. Spongy in a not-so-good way. I won't be making it again.

Best Ever Cinnamon Buns

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2009
These cinnamon rolls turned out GREAT!! I'm a high school student and I made them for some of my guy friends and male teachers. They loved them. My sister wants to start a new Christmas tradition with them because she loved them so much! I was a little concerned at first because the dough was so sticky (I was afraid I had lost count on the flour) but after kneading and rising, the dough was easy to roll out with flour. I used the suggested icing instead of the icing that came with the recipe and it was amazing. That icing was- 1/2 cup butter, softened; 8 oz. cream cheese, softened; 2 tsp. vanilla; and 4 cups powdered sugar. Combine butter and cream cheese, then add sugar and vanilla. I also added much more cinnamon and sugar to the rolls so you could really taste it. Great recipe! :)
