I made 1/2 of the recipe for two. It was alright. Flavour was good. For me it was too many pans for the finished product. This will not be on my list to make again.

Sesame Pasta Chicken Salad

I used this as a main dish and served hot. I cut down the sugar a bit. Half the recipe was plenty for a meal for two with a bit left over for a lunch cold the next day. Love the flavours!

Gluten-Free Yellow Cake

Well it was gluten free but not like a regular cake. Seemed more like a cheesecake consistency. As suggested I beat with electric beater about 15 minutes and the batter did thicken as a continued to beat it. The flavour was great but a very heavy cake. I used a chocolate fudge icing on top.

Barley Chicken Casserole

I cut the chicken into chunks and mixed into barley mixture. Added a bit of white wine. I ended up cooking about 20 minutes longer with the cover off to help evaporate some of the liquid. Very tasty and filling.

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast

I left out the cheese but added some crushed garlic. I didn't want the heaviness of the cheese. I wrapped the chicken with two strips of bacon, one wrapped one way over and the other the other way over so they crossed in the middle

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

It may have just been the molasses I used but I found that I did not need the water. I had to add extra flour to get the proper consistency. A bit pale but once you taste them mmmmm good!

Viva Madrid Spanish Chicken

I had just used up the last of my dates so I added some raisans. Really, all you are looking for is the sweetness and the raisans worked fine. This was good, but not enough zing for me. I would add more Thyme, likely 1/2 tsp and double the chili powder next time. I serve it with Spanish Rice and Black beans

Chef John's Baked Acorn Squash

I did not find that this extra work really did much for the squash. It is possible that the squash did not have the best flavour to start with. You know how it can be with squash. I will not bother again.

Creamy Pork with Sour Cream Sauce

Excellent. I used fresh rosemary as I had it on hand. Also used 1/2 packet of no sodium chicken powder which I mixed into 1/2 c dry white wine. A keeper!

Romance Bars

Got great reviews. I bit hard to cut. Next time I will make them on parchment paper and lift out to cut. I used unsweetened coconut. For the icing I recommend making on third to one half the recipe and just drizzling it over the top. Going to make a second batch today and use up the rest of the icing I have left from Friday.
