Original Chex® Party Mix

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2009
Here are some suggestions. 1. Double the batch (this bowl gets emptied way too soon!) 2. Use a big turkey roaster and put the cereal, chips, nuts (we love cashews and almonds), pretzels first. 3. Melt the butter and mix in all the seasonings then drizzle over the dry ingredients, stirring with each pass. If you melt in the pan and then add the cereal, the items in the bottom get soaked and the rest are dry. 4. Then we spray lemon juice on the mix! It is not the same without it. We lightly spray before we put it in the oven and each time we take it out to stir (every 15 minutes). We use a Pamperd Chef sprayer with stright lemon juice.

Wild Rice Stuffing for Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2009
I am also from MN and love wild rice but had never cooked it. Not knowing what to expect I followed the recipie exactly. The wild rice was not even close to being cooked in the time specified. Now I had very dark wild rice which I'm learning takes longer to cook. So needless to say, it turned out terrible but the flavor was good in spite of completely uncooked rice. I plan on making this again and hope to give it a great rating like everyone else.
