These are very moist & really yummy. Fell apart a bit, but I made 1 1/2 times the recipe & baked in a 9x11 pan, so this might have had an effect. Will definitely bake again and will try some of the variations others suggested.

The Rebbetzin Chef's Persian Walnut Cookies

I took a beautiful platter of these cookies to a party and the following morning, my husband grabbed a few to have with his coffee! Crispy, delicate, light & nice flavor! I used 1/2 ground almonds & 1/2 ground walnuts & I didn't have time to finish with the egg wash. I baked them on a Silpat sheet, so while they were very soft emerging from the oven, they were perfectly easy to remove, and crisped up immediately when cool.

Sour Cream Banana Cake

I made this cake for my husband's men's group barbecue. Some of the younger men in the group dubbed it "Crack Cake" referring to it's "addictive" quality, and my husband said this incredible cake was gone before the meat ever hit the barbecue! THANK YOU for a great recipe that satisfied the taste buds of several generations of men! Like some others, I used 1 c granulated sugar and 1 c brown and made it in the 9x13 pan with frosting. Super simple

Orange Crunch Cake

I made this great cake (in a RUSH!) to take to a friends dinner party and it was huge hit! I added a teaspoon of orange extract to the batter and substituted the frosting recommendation of settlindown using the buttery creamcheese frosting, to which I also added a t. of orange extract.

Caribbean Banana Muffins

Although I am not a big fan of muffins, I had all ingredients on hand and decided to try these while family was in town. They were excellent and everyone loved them. I used 1 c mixed dried tropical fruit, and substituted vanilla for rum. Especially liked the nice large size and the dense moist texture.
