I had a 6 pound roast. This recipe was good, but not great. I love searing our meats on the the outside, and though there was a nice crust on top, it did not sear on the sides. It was also more done than we'd like (per recipe, this cooks to medium - slightly pink in the center.) I love the idea of letting the roast sit in the oven to cook, however, so will tweak the timing and perhaps bump up to 500 from 475.
